Nitrogen Toxicity or anxious first grow?

DrBinoc
DrBinocstarted grow question 5 years ago
Hi all, what are the opinions on my first grow? Little stunted and I think the "claw" is from the FFHF soil post transplant. Pot is a little big (7gal) for this stage, but I was worried about multiple transplants on my first effort. Is this nitrogen toxicity? No added nutrients.

Hi,don't get me wrong but this is definitely nitrogen overload. not by you,by the soil itself. I heard it is a nutrient rich soil and you are growing hindu kush, which comes from landrace genetics possibly. they tend to be sensitive to heavy feeding in vegetation. you havent fed it yet as you say, probably asking why this happened then.because it is a sensitive one, nothing to do with you.But only nitrogen overload, nothing else.typical clawing.Keep giving her pure ph'd water for a week, observe closely but I think it'll go away in no time with pure watering.for landrace/hardcore genetics, I found that N overload is one of the main reasons they hermie later in flowering.I healed my plants using this simple method.pure water will make the plant absorb properly from soil and reduce the nutrient intensity in it.good luck growing hindu kush.

@DrBinoc Hi there I think it will be fine I cannot see any signs of nutrient burn so she is probably just a little shell shocked from the transplant I like to use seaweed solutions when transplanting as it helps relieve the stress Good luck mate 👍

Thanks all for quick replies. Added temp pic, low of 18.8c high of 28c. Might be transplant shock, and as for over watering - I did give a bit too much 2 days post transplant (I've left it alone the past 4 or 5 days). I'll also increase humidity and give it some time. Thanks all!

Well to me it just looks like overwatering. such small plants maybe need only 50-7ß ml water per day... And NO FEEDING, because you already have lots of nutrients in the soil... so look how wet the soil is ( ion the bottom too)

If you just transplanted it then the roots are probably just shocking a little. I would give it a couple days to adjust and I bet she will perk up and start growing. Good luck!
