Can I do something preventive against mold in this phase of growth? Of course, in addition to temperature, humidity and air circulation. They were treated with chitopron in the vegetative phase.

Air flow, defoliate and don't let your buds get wet.

There's not much you can do with flowers developing. things that break down quickly are the best bet, but ... most of this isn't tested for inhallation when combusted or vaporized. "organic" certainly doesn't equate to being safe. Even commercial grade fungicide for large farms and such (fewer regulation than what is avialable over teh counter in most areas of world), have a pretty low effective rate against mold. if it has set in the best thing you can do is cut it out. cut stuff out within a close vicinity. horticulural oil and other foliar applications are going to get on your buds... sometimes that's a necessary evil or you let it spread like mad, lol. one thing is for sure. just because you wash it off a leaf or 'burn' it with rubbing alcohol, the mycelium network beneath the leaf surface still exists. it's much more difficult to see it on buds than leaves, but it will get on those too.. same with stems eventually. foliar applications can spread it around... it'll rinse off the top areas and drip down on a stem or another leaf.. so sthese things are not fool-proof. all the holistic home remedy shit you can google is all bullshit. at beset it is preventative and definitely doesn't live up to how they are described to work. The best thing you can do is protect it in vege phase as best you can. horticultural oil or neem oil makes it more difficult for the mold to penetrate surface of the leaves and stems. religiously apply it before you have a problem - 10-14 days between applications is probably fine. good circulation and avoid extreme humidity or aridness. Mold spreads more easily in a dry environmet but reproduces faster in a humid enviornment.. there is not humidity level that prevents it. prevention is the key. the mold can simply be very common in some regions. clean and sterilize and filter the air all you want. it'll be there waiting. reminds me -- some hepa air filters can help avoid problems. change your furnance filter too.. don't use that cheap blue shit. think you want merc 8 or higher for spores? normally i'd say leave and many leaves as possible, bt if it's a reoccuring problem, i'd say keep up on some amount of defoliation as it grows. make sure fans push air all around plant and not just the top.

Most of pesticides are created with idea of consuming protected goods through belly, we smoke our goods, better no spray of anything . Only things you mentioned will reduce risk, i was going to shower, never went with outdoors cloth inside, did few reconstructions, till i managed to have 5 years without bud rot. Only one strain got some, during that time, so its doable. Good luck.

Increased air circulation and leaf stripping can help lower humidity slightly.

Same idea of be afraid of manmade viruses and you can only use this but i reality staying fit proper nutrition rest and getting sunlight was and is the best preventative med. Its easier to keep healthy then try to cure so ething self inflicted

I have zero experience using chitopron and know nothing about it. What do the directions say on the produc sayt? is it ok on consumables? what about ones like flowers eg broccoli or weed? or is it more so for thicker skined fruits and veggies like apples? How long does it say it lasts from one treatment? or does it have a guide for reapplication. Im not a huge fan of spraying any product on my plants on an indoor grow. only when needed, If you have had mold in the past best thing u can do is make the environment less hospitable for it, that including keeping the rh low, the air circulation up and temps in check. You can also alter the PH on the leaves of plants in veg state to help control mold growth and spread. PH can be changed by spraying things like potassium carbonate, from my understanding it rinses off well when harvesting also works towards WPM. I have also talked with a growing and when they added a bit more P into their grows they helped control their WPM mold very well. Other things that can help is keep the air clean useing a hepa filter to catch and hold mold spores. or some form of UVC light cleaner that will kill mold spores. UVC is quite destructive and should never be allowed to shine freely, Best in a sealed tube/container and air passes though the tube/container and the light does not escape. Good Luck!

Keep them dry, with low humidity and mild temps...........nothing much else can be done to prevent molds. Forget about any sort of voodoo chemical "treatments".

Keep humidity between 40 to 70. Closer to 40 in flowering. Good air circulation, and there won't be any need for any anti fungus or mold anything. I keep my spaces 45 to 50 rh and I never have a issue. Even with bushy obstructed plants

I will give you a solution which is time consuming and will take you some time but you can do the job. Take one or as many cotton swabs as you can and put some alcohol, press very gently on the surface where there is fungus so that it burns it. You can continue as long as it takes even in the flowers but he wants gently and carefully. now the conditions there must be 40/50 humidity, 23/26C and we want very good airflow, you can take some leaves off for better ariflow around the plant.
