I did this as well, if you quickly replanted it and gently covered it, followed by a mist then yes it can survive. Give it a week. You may have damaged the outer of the roots, and it may take 2 or 3 days to reestablish itself. Within a week if it's not grown then yes i would start another seed. Always try the water drop method, wait a day or two. If it won't come off, then put your index finger along side the stem of the plant. Then with just your finger nail, gently pull the seed towards whichever side you other hands finger is against. This will keep the stem from bending over as you pull the seed. Your finger braces the fragile stem basically. I found this to be the best method if the water drop method won't work. I drop water on mine 3 or times a day for 2 days, then if not working, I will do the finger method. Replant, softly cover, moisten the ground. Keep it moist by spraying multiple times daily. If no progress within the week then yes start new seed. Goodluck

that sucks im sorry dude, but it depends, maybe if youre lucky and you pulled it out without hurting the root it might work, after 1-2 days youll notice if the plant is dead or alive
