I always put the babies were i can hold my hand under the light without any discomfort. Girls are born into the sun in nature, so I give them the best sun i can provide from the start. Cheers

You can measure the light intensity (lux) in the cultivation area above the plant! Install a free app called "luxmeter" from the market on your smartphone, wipe the screen side of your phone well, and clean it from grease and dirt. The light sensor is located on the screen side, which often competes with individual lux meters. Check the light intensity above the plant. Adjust the lamp height so it doesn't heat the plant to shock states, but stays within the lux range. Effective light intensity ranges, starting from the planting of the plant: Day 1 (250-500lux) Day 2 (500-1000lux) Day 3 (1000-2000lux) After five pairs of leaves, full vegetation (2000-20000lux) Flowering (20000-80000lux). In theory, the most optimal for flowering is considered to be (45000-65000lux). Good luck, friend! 😇✊

Hi mate It all depends if its led or HPS For a LED equivalent to 250w HPS : 40cm at seedling - 35 - 40cm for veg - 25-30 cm for flowering For it not to stretch so much the distance of the light is a secondary factors as no latter what if too close you can burn your plant To avoid stretching do a very good LST on the thirdweek of veg and keep training them specially for the stretch period (2 first weeks of flow) Cheers and happy growing. Good luck
