What a great question and great way to involve the community!
A 10 Gallon pot you say? 😈😈😈 If you have the ceiling for it...
Northern Light. They can get monstrous in size if you play your cards right. And her colas... like baseball bats.
Not Little League T-Ball bats. We're talking Major League Official 'Louisville Slugger' size bats.
If the autos are anything like the photoperiods, you might have your hands full with just one of these 😇 and a 10 Gallon pot could definitely get the job done.
Even for an auto, I wouldn't pot up but start her in the 40 gallon and let her roots go exploring. This may or may not slow the growth by 1-2 weeks but she should thank you for it in the end nonetheless.
Other than that, I don't have any experience with the other strains. If they are known to grow big, a 10 Gallon may bring out a shine in them.
Perhaps you'd like something of a challenge instead? Chuck the strain that typically grows the smallest into the 10 Gallon and show us what ya got! 😬
