10-14 days at least? every plant can develop differently. i've seen some put the afterburners on the last week or two while expecting a much longer bloom based on previous development. so... just keep your head down and do what you've been doing.
if you start scoping trichomes too early, you often see milky and amber much earlier than you'd epect, but it isn't ready, yet.
let the calyxes plummp more -- optical illusion that the pistils get shorter. toward end they start to curl up too.
