Today my plants got overwatered :( All because of a wrong config of my timer which manages the watering pump :( These poor babies received approx. 0.5 - 0.7 L of the solution over last 24 hrs :( My question is whether this poses a threat of root rot or mold ?

Hi krok464 You possibly facing two issues Over watering and over feeding . And they could cause slow growth. You need to act quickly. 1-Try to lift the soil around the seedlings to get more air penetration and quicker dry cleaning ff the roots. 2- get more Air circulation around the steams off the seedlings. 3- if Growing in plastic pods try punching a few half 0.5 mm holes around the pods to get more air in to the soil. 4- you possibly have room to up your temperature a little to 27C so it will help with drying out the soil quicker. 5-If nutrition burn shows up best solution will be transplanting them in new soil. Because a flush will only worsen the overwatering problem. Hope this helps and good luck with your grow. Happy Growing. If you need more help text me in PM.

lol I thought you were going to ask if they got nutrient burnt but you asked would it cause root rot :D one time error won't make damage to your plants don't worry.you can't overwater with one watering.and no worries they wont get nut burn.just give them some time, stop the watering system for a few days if you think pots have too much water.lift some and estimate.easy.and don't let the system do that frequently please because these pots might tend to root rot if really overwatered.I go with smart pots

Howdy. Over watered? Lets talk about it. Overall, you're good, but this will probably slow growth for a small while (possibly cause a deficiency from being drowned out. Watch for that👍). I've done this, oh...10 friggin times by now (2 grows😕). Firstly, your pots are small👍. Makes for faster moisture dispersion. When this happens to me I turn on more fans for circulation and gently till the soil around the girls, where I know there isn't a root system yet (These pots, maybe an inch down would be good.) This just expedites the process and can save a days-ish. Eventually they will dry, you'll be good to go and with another nutrient feed to catch up (not too fast...) I feel you'll be good to go. I will add, that if you're not comfortable with the above advice, doing an early transplant with highly conditioned soil (perlite and the such), move to air pots and/or fabric pots and this will the moisture will dissipate very quickly. Had one plant I couldn't wait to dry (dying) and transplants early, plus the tilling and all that, and it started to siphon that moisture out withing 12 hours... Whatever course of action you choose I wish you luck!👍. Drop me a line if you'd like. Peace 👌
