Week one of vegetation, when is it?

A plant is in veg when it sprouts, a seedling is a younger plant in veg until it matures and gets bigger. So in short, you are in veg now. That little plant is having some issues though. looks quite hungry, might want to reevaluate your feeding regime. Good Luck!

Hello my friend, the plant is seedling when it only got the cotyledons leaves. The veg start from the moment that the plant grows the first ribbed leaves. Yes she does need grow nutrient from the start in hydro. Start with EC 0.6 and up this a bit every feeding till 0.8. When the first ribbed leaves appear then you can increase the EC to EC 1.0 I usually up the nutrients by EC 0.1 every week till i reach 1.6 and increase it till 1.8 if necessary. Some strains use more nutrients then others. I grow hydrophonics aswell and I first always start to feed by hand till there is are enough roots inside the nutrient solution.

As soon as the first true leaves open, she is in veg growth mode. First true leaves are the typical serrated cannabis leaves, not the small rounded cotyledon "leaves".

I'm considering week 1 starts when the plant have it first node of 3 fan leaves. But I use starting tray (a diy dwc) where the support is immerged into water.
