As youth said, but I do know the northern lights non auto was very resilient for me. Had some and still having some pretty bad weather, yet my last girl is still standing. Haven't seen any bud rot or anything else detrimental despite the cold and rain we keep having here.

The way they are hybridized and bred... you can't assign a general region code to these plants... e.g. you go into a nursery and a plant says it's good in regions 4-6 etc... related to temperatures, sun and general climate of those areas. indica and sativa barely apply anymore , if at all. Someone may h ave preserved a genetic line properly here or there but i'd never assume any random breeder even thinks about it. They don't even use genetic data to help figure out how many alleles are relevant to any 1 trait they care about.. this would make breeding a more known quantity... knoweldge that's been around for decades and ppl that refuse to use it. You may find someone advertising it... but.. there's no repercussions for lying. More than a few will say whatever it takes for you to buy from them... Best option is word of mouth from someone that as grown it (same strain, same breeder.. (even same "lot" if different lots of seeds were released, pardon lack of proper vocabulary) .. but even that is suspect. Some ppl live in areas of low risk to start... they may think nearly all plants are strong because it rarely happens to them. That's called confirmation bias and it's something we all do if not careful. Meosis causes a genetic recombination to occur... it all gets jumbled up on top of mixing with another plant whose sex cells went through meosis too (assuming it isn't selfed for seeds.. evne then you still get variation due to recombination of genes)

Hi! So I'll start by telling you that usually, more than the genetics, you have to look at the seedbank that produces them! I personally have never grown anything from these two companies, so I couldn't tell you on a seriousness level which one is better. That said, let's say that growing indica varieties is easier (they require less care and food usually) apart from some risk of mold at the end of flowering, but by now even these genetics are quite mold-resistant, so you could opt for northern light! (I tried her from another seedbank, and she were fantastic!)Happy growing!
