First time planning to use pots/perlite/soil mix. I have two mars hydro ts1000's. Looking for a tough fast-growing fem auto strain? Considering doing blue cheese for now. When I look at someone else's grow page how do I tell if they are using a hydroponics or soil? Thanks!

If people do their diaries properly, it should be included in the diary. Stick with photoperiod plants, autos are not that easy to get great results with and really are best for expert growers with awesome equipment.

autos are crapshoots... get the flavor you want.. even that may be a lie from breeder, lol. Usually it is listed at athe top, but not everyone incudes that info. I dont bother anymore. But, they may still give hints in their content. Usually easy to recognize hydro.. and coco is easy to recognize too.. tougher to tel with sphagnum peat moss. leca balls stand out easily etc.. common sense can lead you to the answer more times than not.

diary has few drop down menius, just look, then you can see in what medium people grow and other setup or conditions i grew in soil with mars ts1000 and autos and photos, did test for them. simple great light. fast buds gives great genetics by taste, but not always fat, but 100g a plant in soil more than likely to happen theirs gorilla cookies is my fav and first to recomend

😎 Actually, using coco with perlite is almost like hydroponics. Usually hydroponic works with pumps and water (roots get sprayed with water and ferilizer). Soil is just soil. You may want to read a lot more, before you start.

normally it should be listed on the top of the diary what kind of medium they use. i highly suggest to get fabric pots and photoperiod plants, no autos. not only because of yield, but also because you will make more mistakes in your first run and autos won't forgive mistakes that much, since you got limited time with them. with normal plants you can just give them one more week to recover for example.
