Fastbuds plants in 4 gallon fabric pots?

Silly question but looking input just for the sake of not firing up my anxiety😂. Fastbuds included three very nice 3.5 gallon fabric pots with my prize package. I believe its safe to say a 4 gallon is good for their autoflower seeds then rather than the typical 5 gallon?

Don't know about Fastbuds but safe to say they wouldn't want to have anyone screw anything up - especially if they're recommending something! I WILL tell you I've done 2 grows in 3 gallon fabric pots and I'm going to be switching to 5 gal from here on out. Still in all, I'd trust them because they sure as hell don't want you to screw up their seeds with too small a pot! :-D Good luck - and congrats on your prize!

These are good pots. honestly anything 3-5gal works on autos, I use 3, 4 and 5gal fabric pots :) It will just affect how you water - smaller pots need watering more often, but 4 vs 5gal there's very little difference in anything.

12L/3gallon pots seem to be best from my experience. Enough room for the plants to establish a good root system during veg and thrive during flower. Fabric pots stop the roots from tangling and help get more oxygen to them.. I use them every time myself. Would use 5/7gallon pots with photoperiods.. Good luck and congrats on the prize 💪

I used to use 3 gallon fabric pots with Auto's and had good results. I got more yield from 5 gallon pots but the 3 gallon ones did ok. Since you will be working with smaller pots make sure you are using ALL the soil by properly moistening ALL the soil in the pot. Roots don't grow into dry soil. Make sure your watering the entire surface and that your water is getting all the way to the bottom corners. You can see/feel the outside of the fabric pot get damp.

Three gallon pots would be fine. Five gallon makes for a bigger home. Really though fabric pots perform really well. Next to impossible to over water and can’t get root bound. The only thing I suggest is that you really have to get some pot elevators to keep the pot off the ground it needs air flow under there. You won’t go wrong with a three gallon. Or use it for something else later down the road. I’m going to be testing a 3 gal vs a 5 gallon on my next grow.
