For newbie is good grow in coco. Im growing in coco too. Im newbie too :D If u choose coco, u will be needed some fertilizer. Its recommended mix coco with perlite. 3/1- (3x coco / 1x perlite) You can buy coco already with nutes, but im not sure about that cuz first week is recommanded grow without nutes. As @experimentGREEN said, u will need PH meter definitely. I underestimated it, and it cost me seeds, fertilizer, and especially time. For first time i choosed Amnesia Haze auto from RQS. I did good choise. Happy growing mate!

You have the right idea by wanting to plan your first grow before actually starting it, I remember my first grow started by accident and then I was hooked. First things first you should figure out if you are going grow in a room, closet, or grow tent, then after knowing that you can start choosing your light based on what your grow space is to make sure you have good coverage. Next, you should start thinking about pots and soil, most people use fabric pots or plastic pots just depends on what you like and then when choosing your soil remember it should be light and fluffy for good aeration and along with being able to hold some moisture but not too much, the soil I use is Happy Frog soil and it works like a charm. Now that you have the basics you can start looking for beginner-friendly strains, here's a link to The Best Autoflowering Strains for Beginners from FastBuds: https://2fast4buds.com/news/best-autoflower-strains-beginners. Hopefully, this was helpful and If you need any further help don't be afraid to send a PM, I'm always here to help. Good Luck !!!

Hey there, So looking back at my own beginning, I think you should pick up a small variety of seeds both autoflower and photoperiod, pick strains you like. I would grow an autoflower first because it'll give you a chance to try some basics before dealing with light schedules and stressful training. For gear maybe just a 300 watt led, a small tent like 2x2x4, and personally i like fox farms line of soil and the nutrients are pretty easy and well rounded. Definitely #1 on the list though get a ph pen or some ph method and get comfortable with that...ph fluctuations caused more problems than anything else for me. Good luck with the new hobby, don't give up, get creative, and do lots of internet searches. *like mentioned... the growweedeasy.com site is a good place to start.✌️

Yes you will need a seed. I suggest a hybrid variety that grows fairly short and is mould resistant. Get some good quality soil like biobizz or fox farms, if you don't want to buy nutrients I suggest biobizz allmix. Get yourself a light, led or Hid is your next question? Do some research on setting up a grow room, on seeds and lights. Go from there. You can do it all for about £400 if you only have a small area.

Yes I'd probably make sure I was getting a good quality seed. When your looking at the seed shop websites they usually will identify strains that are easier to grow... But There is a number of factors here.. Where you wanna grow? I guess inside because you mentioned a light. So you probably gonna need a light.. Do you wanna try for big harvests? or just grow a bit of weed on the side?... Soil, Containers, Method to check PH... man they have a website www.growweedeasy.com... Go there read, research... That's how you grow cannabis successfully :).
