Help: for a couple of weeks thrips have been infesting my garden, from the more mature plants they have moved to the younger ones. Of the 10 seeds only its have managed to survive because the antros roots have been eaten by the thrips. when I water the soil from it I come out sma

@XiceX Definate get some Diatomaceous Earth and use it on the surface of the soil It will inhibit the thrips from being there.

Nothing will help out of folk methods. Before each new cycle, the box must be disinfected. And sterilize the soil at high temperatures. On vegetation, you can use a contact insecticide, not systemic, which is absorbed into the plant. Good luck!🤝

Sadly bugs are always a worry when using soil as a medium. A lot of pests hate hot peppers. Grind up some ghost peppers or scotch bonnets and make a shake. Give each plant a healthy dose. See if that helps..

Imo I always premixed my soil with diatomaceous earth .ever since myc1st grow and some type of mini gnats or flies .idk but read everything and that seemed to be the best plan of attack in the future. Haven't seen ANY pest since.good luck
