Live on the Sunshine Coast of BC and have Autoberry autoflower seeds from Rocket Seeds. When should I begin germination and when can I put them outside?

Oh by put them out I wouldn't start them outside. I would get them at least two weeks old indoors before taking them out.

Hey brother I'm somewhere nestled in one of the Valleys of our Beautiful province.. I plan on putting my autos out at the end of April, and I will likely do it again in June depending on how everything else is rolling along. And my photos will most likely go out at the start of April. I'm Surrounded by mountains and get quite a bit less sun then you but yea even the autos at the end of April will get enough of "strong" growing conditions to produce some good results. It get harder for me in July and August because it can get quite dry and hot here. Glad to see another Canadian grower on here and happy growing I hope this helps 😁

I am not terribly far from you though your area has these micro-climates which negates what I know about it. Know BC has some really fine areas for cannabis hope you are in one. Here is the deal with Autos outside, LIGHT and Temp. I would not put an auto outside until late June or early July and it would be at least 3 weeks old before doing so. Treat the auto just as they do tomatoes in the area, when they go out so can your girl. Local seed and feed should be able to help with that info. Good luck

@SalishSeaHomegrown Hi mate Because you have chosen an Auto strain the light hours Are not really a concern However The temperature overnight is . Is there any way you could germinate them and keep them under a light for the first 2-3 weeks of their Life? This would allow you to get a headstart on the growing season and once overnight temps are suitable (not below 13celcius) you can move them outdoors.

As soon as the teemperatures are stable. that means not colder than 10-12 Degree in the night and more than 12 lighthours a day. In my area ( northerneurope) I start in the end of April or beginning of May. I wait until the Cold nights are over . I pregrow the plants in my growbox or in the greenhouse ( photoperiods). With my autoflowers i waituntil middle of may or beginning of june when we have stable teemperatures and a good weather for growing. Ist because the growingperiod is so short. You have to catch a good "window" where the conditions are best. Sunny but not to hot with warm nights. Then your Girls explode. You can do up to 3 runs with automatics. In starting the first run Indoors. the second you start outdoors. and the last one you end Indoors. Thats the great Advantage for automatic plants. If you plan just one run, then look for the best Time of year in your area
