Hey peepz! I am thinking about getting a tent for my garden house (wanted to convert the whole thing but it's future talk!). Do you guys have any recommedations? Should a 100cmx100cmx180cm work for about 3-4 plants? I am thinking about max 300w range of energy consume... 😉

Secret Jardin are great tents and pretty cheap. And the HOMEbox tents are the best quality. 300 watts is a great amount for this size tent. I would also go for 4 large plants with a SCROG net. But you can also go for 3x3 or even 4x4 pots for a SOG. Lot of options just depends on your preference. But again I would also go for 4 large fabrique pots (20-30 liters) with a SCROG net.

I don't like tents that have predetermined ports and vents, Can verify Secret Jarden or any tent brand that is modular and lets your customize are best. Spiderfarmer have nice tent material but again the ports and vents are mid to shit IMO. I do 3-4 plants in a 2x4 tent with aorund 300W. it does well. You could also do a 4x4 for more room and up it to 400W. Good Luck!

3 or 4 plants would require a 4'x4'x6.5' grow tent in my opinion. anything smaller will be crowded unless you are growing dwarfs. And, in a 4x4 tent, which is what i use, i run a 640w 8 bar light. You can get away with less, such as the Viperspectra KS5000 which i think is 500w and is an EXCELLENT light for the value. My advice to you to cut your costs is to comb through the buy and sell ads. Facebook marketplace, etc. Tons of hopeful growers that realized they don't know how to grow, or don't have the time or patience for it, are selling off their stuff at great discounted prices. I buy a lot of stuff off the used sites. Nutrients, lights, fans, tents. I'm buying a AC Infinity 5x5 tent today in fact for 185 below retail and it's literally brand new. 2 weeks ago i bought a ac infinity s33 ion board light with only 75 hrs use for 150 bucks. I've also seen multiple Photontek bar lights for under 600 bucks listed in my area with only 7 grows worth of use @ 12/12 usage. Those lights new are 1400 each.

If you have more space, get a bigger tent. Yes you can fit 3-4 in there, but more space is always better. Especially if we talk comfort, which its seems to me your aiming for. Also buy that stuff single wise not as a kit. You dont need the glasses, net, overprized fan, scissors, all that stuff. You need atleast 250w per squarefeet even tho i would aim for 400-500 for best results. All lights on the market are good and pretty similar, just stick to brands like Marshydro, Viparspectra, lumatek, Phlizon(cheap alternative), HLG(pricy UK), Greenception(new German product).

I started off with a ac infinity ( 3x3 (feet) complete kit. less than a year later I now have two 3x3's, two 4x8's, and a 2x3.and another tent I got for drying I gave to my friend.. i grow in the 4x8's and dry in the 3x3's and have perpetual grow going with a veg and flower tent, and my 2x3 I have my moms and clones. i wish I would have peiced out my first kit even though it was not a bad buy at all. I think you can get a better setup if you buy it separately and can find some deals. the light is where I wouldn't skimp, and I would skimp in the tent if you can. the cheap 0 4x8 tent I got is almost better than the gorilla lite one that was 250 on sale. and if you plan on upgrading to the whole room no need for a super nice tent. I would go with a 4x4 and 4 plants. my first grow I did 2 plants in a 3x3 and it was awkward to train to fill the canopy. I'm doing just 2 plants per 4x8 now

The tent and vent are top, but I would take two Mars sp 150 for better light distribution (more lights is always better)
