Hello there. I see no one has touched on this question so I'll throw in a quick opinion. Just an opinion, though. I'm a new grower and only moving into my third grow, but I always suggest to new comers to follow manufacturer's recommended dosing! The dosing and schedules the manufacturer provides (either for drain to waste or re-circulation applications) is a great benchmark to start with. They created and know the product to it's core. These doses almost ensure a lack of issues during the grow (ie. deficiencies or toxicities). After the first grow and using the nutrients, you can start to see where you might like to add more or less and you can make up your own schedule that works for you. At the end of the day, the schedule is just a benchmark, but it's fairly accurate. Growers that use nutrients at different times or use a different schedule, do so because they know how the plants and nutrients will work with one another and are confident in making the changes they need too. In my first grow, I did not deviate from the recommended doses but in my second I saw where I was lacking in certain macro/micro nutrients and tailored my own schedule to mine and the girls needs. Takes time and practice but you will find the sweet spot with your nutrients. I just recommend sticking with the dosing they suggest for the first time around. Hope this helped and good luck starting up👍. AN is a good brand and can be trusted. Just follow steps and adjust as needed👌 Cheers
