I am growing three Super Lemon Haze Autos from Greenhouse seeds and three OG Kush Autos from Humbolt Seed Organization. They have just completed week 4 (Day 29). They are all showing lots of white hairs (pistils). Isnt it too early for them to be flowering?

It is prebloom, man. Mine SLHA began to prebloom same time. Earlier to prebloom - earlier harvest. That is the dutch seeds benefit.

Yo Yo Yo. Hahahhahahha. Im sorry my man but it could be way better for you . u can't really do nothing as far as pistils because autos have their own life cycle and by this i mean u cannot control(Reverse) them with 18/6 vegetative cycle. So just let them finish. And since autos have a short life cycle u need to start strong to have a good yield in the end. My man the seeds u had were good. I think your problem was the soil u were using... Im sure next time u will do way better... If you use feminised seeds don't forget to plant in a huge pot.... the bigger the pot the better the yield. But as for autos we go with more pots(small ones) better yields...

You're temps are way to high for a start, and you shouldn't top auto's - even when conditions are spot on they don't have enough recovery time before they flower so you hurt yield ( even seed company's don't recommend it !! )

Hi! Depending of the strain you got. they will be flowering , if an auto, on his lifetime not hours of light BUT, the better you can give them conditions better plants will make! I raise outdoor until last year that i have to move home and bought a tent... When i make it in outdoor, i must find a plave, not too hot but with the maximum of sun light! Autos need a vegetative period , its on that stage that the autoflowering gets its growth to flower... The pot its one of the factor to influence the flowering... litlle pots 7 -11 L, smaller, the plants reache the pot side and its another reason to flower... I tryed 20L pot in a autoflower and another in 11L.. the diference was huge... in big pot the plant get longer veg, and get bigger!! I do this experiment in indoor 150Wcfl and 400W hps and outdoor may to june.. Bye!!

Hi there Dromarsid, Indeed your girls had a very short veg period, the Super Lemon H has flowering already in week 3. I have grown 3 RQS auto strains in a balcony with limited light hours, as you presume the more light you have the more they are able to use that, I had as little as 10 hours of light, no bennies and a general use nute from neudorf, they grew +- 60cm yielded 15-25g, used that as an example because maybe the ligh intensity you have is not that strong, and that will affect the grow. The timming of the auto depends also on selective breed and how stable a strain is. The pack of beneficial bacteria you are using is very good and compleat that is a thing to stick to. For autos try to stick to some LST and avoid any transplant and HST, such as topping, defoliation, supercropping and so on. Some top autos but they have to be growing very fast at least 4-5 nodes (pairs of "real" leaves) by the end of week 2. Good luck, happy growing!

Auto kick into flower on their own schedule. 4 weeks is about average. Also, you can top if you want, I’ve topped autos before with great results. But I do think it extends the time to harvest. I’ve been trying FIM’ing lately which seems to cause less stress on the plant.

You should not top autos... For autos, flowering stage can start how early they develop... But 4 week it's normalm I can tell you by some autos I do have one time. Pretty normal. But you should not give them all the stress of topping bro. Autos grow fast, so they are not so good to handle stress like an regular or feminized plant, they could handle it, but they will not have the time to heal. Happy grow!!

I can almost guarantee that the roots are not happy and/or they have not had enough light. They are all stunted. Topping is a bad idea too. Can you not start over and bring them in at night under an artificial light? More light = bigger plant

Hey mate so from what I know you shouldn't really top an auto at all . The genetics of the plants are made to grow fast so they don't really handle stress well . I would recommend not topping autos going forward bro . Lst is about as far as I would go .😀

Flowering for autos is not a matter of age, but a matter of development, once they reach that stage of development, they will begin flowering, that been the full deployment of the 5th pair of true leaves (your mileage may vary, I've had this happen at the 6th pair of leaves too). With the ideal conditions, that can happen as early as their 2nd week or as late as their 5th. Good environmental conditions, like in a controlled indoor setup (18 plus hours of light, ideal temperature and humidity), they can will begin really "early", because they reach the mature stage much earlier than compared to outdoor conditions where there's usually much less direct sun hours, and can face low temperatures that slows down their growth.

No most autos begin flowering somewhere between weeks 4 and 6. Best of luck with your grow
