The translator is crazy, when is it best to make clones of a fairly indica and compact plant. In vegetation or pre-flowering, what do they stretch?

awww... this adds up. I like to take clone cuttings from the bottom or mid growth and I do this before I flip to flower, however, they can be taken in early flower as well. If you take them in late flower, you have to get them to root and then reveg. I think I remember reading something saying they root faster in flower but take longer to grow. fact check this, I can't recall the source, but I have never done that always before the flip. I bag them up in a white garbage bag in a glass of water as I don't have a cloning machine. I open bag daily to exchange air and change water. after about a week or so I put them in little pots with some soil. I also exfoliate/ruff up their base stalk to encourage root growth.

Always take clones in veg for best results. Do not wait until flowering has started.
