Starting seedlings, which is the best route? Please help!

Should I start my seedling right into the medium (Roots organic original potting soil which I have heard can be a little hot for seedlings) or should I start with Rock-wool first and then transfer the auto into the medium. Thank you!

The rock-wool is best as its not really a transplant as much as a potting, nothing in the roots is disturbed.
Easy stuff to work with, do soak in PHed water first as rock-wool can have a screwy PH right off the bat.

I get it’s a auto seed and it will end up still producing but I wonder if doing a do over is better than wasting the bills on such a small plant.
