Starting seedlings, which is the best route? Please help!

Should I start my seedling right into the medium (Roots organic original potting soil which I have heard can be a little hot for seedlings) or should I start with Rock-wool first and then transfer the auto into the medium. Thank you!

The rock-wool is best as its not really a transplant as much as a potting, nothing in the roots is disturbed.
Easy stuff to work with, do soak in PHed water first as rock-wool can have a screwy PH right off the bat.

Second seed had been growing wrong way up.Turns out my second seed was growing upside down and the taproot had been growing towards the light for ~8 days. 3 x 3 gal pot in a 2x2 tent?I sprouted a seed in case the little baby would have fail, but now it’s fully recovered luckily. What can I do with the extra baby? Considering I don’t have much space in this 2x2 tent, will 3x 3gal pots will fit? Or I should consider to put the new born in a smaller pot?
