Absolutely! Cutting right where you drew the line will break the apical dominance at the top.
The plant is already alternating nodes, so the new top branches won’t be even but that shouldn’t matter too much. If the branches get uneven you can always super crop the branch on the right until the left branch catches up.
To get a completely even canopy, in a few days you can also top those two top growths that are to the right and left of the red line you drew to try and allow the lower stem/branch growths to catch up... another option that’s a little less stressful is to super crop those next two top branches in a few days after the plant recovers from the initial topping to get the lower branches even with the top branches.
