24 hours all the way to 5-7 days depending on the environment you're germing in. Just keep a close eye on them, multiple times a day and wait for it's little white ass to pop out. When the tap root is about 1/3 to 1/2 inch long, time to take it out of the PT and throw her in some soil👍. A lot of people and seed banks recommend a dark, warm cupboard and that works just fine...but using a germination heat mat will expedite this process. Lastly, do you do a seed soak prior to the paper towel or just full germination in the paper towel? Soaking a seed for 8-12 hours prior to the PT helps prime the seed with water and the germination process has already started before it hits your paper towel. I find the seeds move much quicker this way and in my first two grows I was able to start germing, sow and see a sprout in under 60 hours. Hope this helped man. Good luck with the new life!!! And Grey is 100% correct. That paper towel gets dry...and you done shot yourself in the foot. Keep that baby moist and check often👍

Depends on the breeder and how old the seeds are. Autos I've noticed take bit longer to sprout. Between 2-3 days in Paper towel.

48 hours is normally the minimum time it takes to germinate!! Open it up after 48 hours if they are Fermin fully then wrap it back up for another 24 hours! By then they should be germinated if they are not them go in 24 hour cycles until they are! Any seeds not fully germinated by 5-6 days you might as well pitch be they are probably not gonna grow a healthy ok t anyway!! 💯🤟🍀👍 Happy Growing friend!!

I normally soak it in water for at least 24 hrs. Whether or not it drops, I put it in paper towel on a saucer, and then I place a saucer on top (there is a brim to leave a little space between plates). I then leave it for a whole day and check on it every 12 hrs (very carefully so I dont move the seed). I have put the plates on seed pads, or even on my cable box for a little heat until they pop. I have had seeds put out a tap root in 24 hours, and others took 3 days. Good luck

you need to wait until it opens enough for the little white tap root to start protruding from the pointed end of the seed make sure the paper doesnt dry out in the meantime
