Growing in a 60x60x170cm secret jardin dr60 with a 600w HPS bulb set to 250w but the grow tent’s temperature is 36°C I don’t have much equipment only 2 fans inside for air circulation what can I do to drop the temperature?

I think a cheep 150w or so prob be about the same amount of light without the heat. Seems like the cheapest option to me an air conditioner prob cost more than a smaller size light especially with holiday

Passive cooling tubing should come into the tent from top down penetrating inside tent 2-3ft deep just below the level of the exhaust fan doung its work. Exhaust deals with hottest air at highest point as it deals with rh%, cold air is drawn- below the hot, mixed with lower exhaust intake.

Flow like water, I discovered during my life that whenever a water pipe has a bend over 90 degrees the amount of force required to keep forcing it around that bend doubles, Thus especially true for hydraulic lines. To cool your tent you need a outside line of fresh air with no fan attached just tubing, add 3 or so 180 bends in the tubing before connecting to outside air window or vent. (Screen to prevent bugs etc). Have a lower intake passive fan always on around 4" or 6". Have a higher intake with variable speed 8" set to exhaust when rh reaches 45% down to 40%. This should begin and maintain a negative pressure cycle, Most of the air will be sucked in from the lower intake, there will also be outside air drawn in at a lesser rate dependant on how many bends you put in your tubing. This air will be fresh and colder or at least should be. Cold air is drawn in passively from the work done by the intake and exhaust fans dealing with RH%. As the plant does more work more moisture is spat out, more fans on, more cool air.

A "cool tube", extractor and ducting is the only way.

Open up any of these little windows in your tent, and you should try and get an exhaust fan going. If one of your two existing fans can do that, great. One fan inside for circulation will suffice in such a space usually, I used one(1) for multiple grows in such a tent without issues. The exhaust will suck cooler air through all these gaps, up over your light and out through the fan. What could also work in your case, if you have enough time to keep swapping out stuff, is using a fan for intake instead of exhaust and prepare frozen water bottles to put in front of the intake, this however will spike humidity a bit. You'll need at least 9 1.5L bottles to get through the day on a 12/12 schedule from my personal experience. Had to do this once to keep temps below 32c. Up to 30c is still acceptable imo but i'd rather keep it below 30 if possible.

Or for now. Just open all vents and leave door open in your tent. Really not an idea setup. That HPS light must be on fire @m0use is also 100% correct. DO NOT LEAVE OR GO TO SLEEP WITH SUCH EXTREME TENT TEMPERATURE. Buy a 10cm/4 inch 200m3 exhaust fan with ducting. And also I'd get a fan blowing directly on that light and then an oscillating fan to make sure your plant gets even air flow.. All way too hot. Even with a led light. YOU MUST have an exhaust system

You need an exhaust system mate But, for now what you can do is cycle air in and out. So, your tent should have ducting hole up top and 1 on the bottom (or a vent/mesh net will act as an inlet) So. Try install your fan so it sucks air from the tent and blows it out. So, you want air blowing on your hand, hot air from inside the tent.. You need to get air cirulating man.

Many good answers here. Get an exhaust fan setup in the tent, sends hot air out and colder air in. Also LED lights are the way to go, check out Mars hydro, Viparspectra, spider farmer. All good brands at good prices.

This is a fire hazard. I though all HPS needed airflow though them "connecting to a duct fan to vent excess heat" or on them to blow it around and prevent hot spots. I would be very cautious about burning your place down with this setup. Also I know Secret Jardin tents as having modular inputs/ports, no precut holes and vents with velcro like in your picture. its the reason I bought them hate how they look like that, Did they cheapen out their tents or is this a really old model? you can't reply to question asked anymore, but you can send a DM or direct message. your inbox is the little airplane looking thing in the bottom right.

everyone covered it... if it's still hot while exhausting warm air out of that area - outside would be best - then all you can do is get an AC unit for that room or turn your home's ac down. this is why i grow in the winter only. High temps and RH are difficult and expensive to deal with.

You need an exhaust fan. Even if your temps where not that high you'll need an exhaust for fresh air exchange and to vent humidity.

Leave the door open i guess, u could manually open and cloee the door based on light cycle or follow vpd chart if your hot ya gotta change your humdity. Buddy mentioned just open space you could. Just know a watt of light is a watt of heat. 4ft baseboard heater is 1000 w. That light is the equivelant of 2ft baseb9wrd heater running full tilt the wholetime its on

Yeah man HPS lights in a tent like that is definitely not ideal. There’s not much you can do with two fans. Either invest in more equipment or just ditch the tent and grow it in the open space.

Hello- You can do things but both require new equipment. 1. You should get an exhaust fan that you can regulate to control temp and humidity. 2. LED lights are more efficient and do not increase the environment temperature as much. Unfortunately the fans running inside the tent can’t do anything but move air and slowly increase the internal temps
