Sind das Schimmelsporen?

Hallo Zusammen, wie ihr seht hab ich am unteren Ende des Stammes „Sporen“. Die Sporen sind ca 1 cm lang und erinnern an die von alten Kartoffeln. Kann das Schimmel bzw Schimmelsporen sein ? Die Pflanze ist in einer Hydroponischen Anlage und in Woche 6. danke schon mal im Voraus

those are just new root tips. moist enough that they haven't air-pruned. I'm assuming the roots look that color due to staining from fertilizer -- as long as they aren't slimey or stinky, probably okay. You'd definitely see symptoms from that much microbial growth, if it wasn't stained, in canopy too. So, if the canopy is good, you are good.

I grow DWC. That is nothing more than new roots forming. Not spores.

So, that would be the main root coming off the end of your stem before it goes into the soil. Looks like instead that stem (root) branching out mid pot. But seems to have found a hole Also thid tends more to happen With DWC 12CM DEEP pots. Just keep going the way it is. It's ROOTS.. Good luck mate

Spores are microscopic and are not seen with the naked eye, unless we have magnafiation. Potatoes have "eyes" and they grow new tubers, the white bits are like @Organoman said, new roots and nothing to worry about.

No they are not spores, they are new roots sprouting/growing. Northing to worry about and completely normal.
