You're looking at about two more weeks of feeding, then hit them with a one-week flush before harvest. That timeline should bring you right into the ripening window, but don’t just go by the calendar.
If you’ve got a magnifier or jeweler’s loupe, now’s the time to start checking those trichomes. You're aiming for mostly cloudy heads, with some starting to turn amber. Cloudy means peak THC levels, while amber signals the THC is beginning to degrade into CBN, giving more of a body-heavy, sedative effect.
Quick tip:
For a more uplifting, energetic high, harvest when trichomes are mostly cloudy with very little amber.
For a more relaxing, couch-lock effect, let more amber come in, around 20–30%.
Also keep an eye on pistils, when around 70–90% of the hairs have darkened and curled in, you’re usually right in that harvest window.
Let the plant tell you when she's ready. You're almost there, don’t rush the finish!
