Making waterlogged soil useable

I have waterlogged ground in a mini half 'island' between two creeks. Can I make the fertile ground there useable with coco-coir, sand and woodchips?

dont see why not if you have the stuff to build the ground up should be a ok
could be a good growing site with flowing water beneath, plants would like that

Roots or some type of mold? Noticed these on the bottom of the fabric potsCan someone shed some light on what this could be ?? I've noticed them on all the pots at the bottom on them, my initial thoughts were could it be the roots ? Green on top soilYesterday I added a dehumidifier and c02 bag, I stopped exhausting and keeping humidity under 73 and lowest 68. Today I noticed a bit of green on my soil. I’m thinking of letting them dry out a bit maybe I’m watering too much. What can cause this green to come up on the top soil?
