Light issue. Day 24 of flower, lights went out. Will I face issues? Lights were out for 60 minutes during the 12 hour light period.

I am guessing its not an issue since cannabis photoperiod is a long night, so a little more "night" won't hurt, but would it confuse the plants or something? I would appreciate the insight.

Nothing to worrie about! I can insure you that you will not face any issues because of this. Only when you have a constant light leak during your dark period your plants might get stressed, reveg or become hermaphrodite. But a little dark period during the light time does not harm your plant. It will only cost you the photosynthesis during the time beeing dark instead of light.

Uninterrupted darkness is the key... this is what causes the hormonal response in plant which causes the flip to flower production. Light is irrelevant as long asyou provide enough and don't interrupte the dark period. it isn't even "12" hours... closer to 10 hours of uninterrupted darkness is necessary. It's just safer to use a 12/12 to avoid any genetic variance. 13on/11off is also safe if you can make use of another 8% DLI. Gassing an already gassed plant won't help though.

You had a solar eclipse . Nothing to worry about. Just like you said its 12h or more of darkness that matters. 😎 Happy Growing
