First try: problem with germination

Hi guys, I think that my seed is going to die. I use universal topsoil (the one you can find in a supermarket) and stupidly I put too water on it before put the seed into it. After one week I've noticed that the seed is darker and there is no root. How can I recover from my erro?

sounds like its been drowned good an dead, there aint no recovery if it has. its fresh seed start again.

some seeds take some dont its just the way it is i have germinated 10 plus seeds at a time and only have 5 pop you should start your seeds in jiffy pellets in a little green house with a heating pad helps alot they love nice warm damp spots good luck man

I want to try a living soil but options are limited so I guess my question is....is mixing the "Bush Doc coco loco" with a living soil a bad idea? Whataretheeeeeese The soil holds too much the water and takes too long to dry up, no fan or temps will drop bellow acceptable, so besides taking advantage of the sun whatelse to do? They seem to hold well and have steady grow even without watering for 5 days... they dont need oxigen or what?

Root rot :(I believe I have a case of root rot. Pic attached. I just added Orca in the morning, and noticed orange foam and these roots literally hours later. Water was still under 70 from the res change sunday afternoon. Currently 68. I rinsed in tap, they look a little better. ;(

Hydroponic humidity control.What's the best way to control humidity when dealing with hydroponics? Ghost cabinet stealth grow box by Unique Hydroponics its a 15x9x36 cab...two plants in the bloom stage. I'm at 70% humidity, which I know is high, but no issues with the plant. Weird Autos (RQS NLA, same strain) still vegging day 50. Only some preflower, but nice plants. WHAT would YOU do?!This is the most unpredictable auto flowers I've ever had. It will be 50 days soon and only preflower on one plant. Ive used a 12/12 light schedule on autos before. Should I try this on these plants? If, so keep it 12/12 untill the end? No turning back to 20/4 when they go?
