Foxtailing isn’t always stress — some cultivars just do it by nature, especially certain sativa-leaning or dessert lines. A few that are well known to foxtail naturally: Dr. Grinspoon (Barney’s) – probably the classic example Thai / Landrace sativas (Thai, Lao, Cambodian, etc.) Haze lines (Neville’s Haze, Super Silver Haze, Amnesia Haze phenos) Strawberry Cough (many phenos) Jack Herer (especially sativa-leaning cuts) Durban Poison Kali Mist Lemon Haze phenos G13 Haze Modern hybrids that sometimes show genetic foxtailing: Gorilla Glue phenos Runtz phenos Wedding Cake phenos Gelato phenos In these cases, foxtailing is part of the bud structure and flower stacking, not a sign of light or heat stress. The key difference is that genetic foxtails form symmetrically and consistently, not just on the top closest to the light. It’s one of those traits that looks odd at first but can be totally normal — and sometimes even desirable 🌱

I was going to mention grinspoon but I'm not sure if that's considered foxtailing. It seems to be a type of fox tail

Funny steam train quotes often play on their noisy, smoky, powerful nature, punctuality (or lack thereof), and the romanticized journey, with quips like "A train is a big metal beast that runs on a schedule set by God and a timetable by man," or observations about steam as "a giant, noisy kettle on wheels," highlighting their mechanical charm and quirks. Here are some humorous takes on steam trains: On Noise & Smoke: "The only thing louder than a steam train is the silence after it passes." "Steam trains: Because 'chugga-chugga' is the original 'ASMR'." "My therapist told me to embrace my inner steam engine: loud, smoky, and always running late." On Punctuality & Travel: "Catching a train is easy, if you miss the one before it." (A classic twist on train timing). "Life is like a steam train: full of smoke, occasional breakdowns, and always arriving eventually... maybe." "You know you're on a steam train when 'getting there' is less important than the dramatic spectacle of 'arriving'." On Power & Metaphor: "A steam train: Proof that with enough coal, steam, and stubbornness, you can go anywhere." "It's a train, not a spaceship. It goes vroom, not warp speed, but it sure makes a fuss about it!" Classic & Witty: "A railway station is a place where opportunities arrive and depart in puffs of smoke." "Trains don't run on time; they run on steam, coal, and the sheer willpower of their drivers." These quotes capture the fun, chaos, and character that make steam locomotives so beloved, often contrasting their massive scale with their relatable human-like antics.

If you want plants that naturally look like they've been hit with Zapper Gun, rather than just looking like a round ball of fluff 1. The Pure Old School (Wild & Airy) Would be considered as the Original "OG" foxtailers, as they do appear more like strings of pearls or vines than traditional weed. Dr. Grinspoon: A true classic, with a growth habit that resembles small bunches of grapes growing along a single strand of plant without any bulk whatsoever and almost 100% resin. Oldtimers Haze: A 1960s throwback that retains its characteristic skinny and long shape and well-defined spiral pattern. Thai (Landrace): Very airy so that they do not get too thick when grown in hot, humid conditions of the tropics. 2. The Hybrid Giants (Knobby & Dense) There are hybrids that have more than just the "meat" of their branches, and they still maintain the unique shape of their flowers. Ghost Train Haze: Recognized as having some of the largest "crown" shaped colas of any strain. ( Probably will be running this one in my next grow ) Sour Diesel: Known for the very "lumpy" and "staggered" calyx formation of its flowers. Super Lemon Haze: Frequently develops what are termed "fox ears" in the final two weeks of flowering. Blue Dream: The phenotypes that lean toward being Haze producers produce some very nice "mini-tower" shapes just prior to harvesting. 3. The Boutique Exotics Desfran: A pure sativa strain, it has a very intense, dense structure of crystal covered buds. With these strains, foxtailing is an intentional part of the high resin content of these types of plants that create a larger area for the multiplication of trichomes. Have you considered running a Sativa strain in your next growing cycle?

Never forget the fact that Al Bundy scored four touchdowns in a single game while playing for the Polk High School Panthers in the 1966 city championship game versus Andrew Johnson High School, including the game-winning touchdown in the final seconds against his old nemesis, "Spare Tire" Dixon.
