I'm not sure if the 5x5 has the thicker tent poles or not... if it's 22-23mm, then it might be worth it. Definitely worth getting the thicker poles for 4x8 and larger tents, but if you aren't hangingn too much weight, might not matter in a 5x5.
AC Infinity is a bunch of cunts, but few offer the sturdier poles. I wouldn't overpay too much for it.. so as long as it's competitively priced, not a bad option.
They made a mistake on the website pricing of the 10x10 when it was released then tried to bully me into returning it by sending a bunch of defective and used tents - one wasn't even properly boxed up and i didn't let the ups guy take it off the truck before refusing delivery. Jokes on them. they spent a ton on shipping 5 different tents and i got extra poles to make a couple scrog frames, lol. They are forever cunts.
Bottom watering setups aren't ideal, but not everything has to be ideal to have great results. If they use wicks, that's just one more thing that needs to be bought/replaced and one more thing that can go wrong. It's better for soil than soilless methods. In a soilless method, if you don't religiously get 10% runoff waste water, you are eliminating one of the primary benefits of the soilless growing method. Irrelevant to soil growers, but still wise to get a top-down irrigation occasionally with the bottom feeding setups.
AC infiinity charges a bit of a premium for their products. They aren't bad, but the commonly perceived quality is above and beyond reality.
