You want a gentle breeze that makes the leaves dance slightly, not a direct blast. Try oscillating the fan or pointing it at a wall to bounce the air instead. Also, check your runoff pH and nutrient levels to make sure you aren't hitting them too hard with Nitrogen this late in flower.
