8/10 overall. Super easy to trim. Hard to overfeed (I never did and she ate very well). Loves cool temps, especially in flower, anything over 75F and she will put off rotten berry smell. Lots of branching and she takes very well to topping (in hindsight I should have topped twice instead of once). Very few water/sugar leaves on colas, making the trim insanely easy with mostly just pistil hairs needing a brush cut (could probably use a beard trimmer lol). The one difficulty that someone new to ABC will face (like I did) is that the seeds are very tough, and either need a lot of heat (like with a heat mat) and/or using a nail file or clippers to remove a tiny piece off the end to let water in and germinate quicker. If you don't use either method, these will either take forever to germinate, or they simply won't. I personally had good result with a heat mat set to 85F, and the ziploc bag and wet paper towel method. I placed a soft facecloth underneath and on top to trap the heat and prevent direct contact with the heat mat, and it only took 3 or 4 days for 100% germination rate, without any clipping or filing. The overall yields are not that high either, and the flower time is a few weeks longer than most, so the score of 8/10 is fair in my mind. The one caveat to the score would be that you need to grow this indoors if you live in a humid climate, as I've been told by other growers of Blueberry Bastard that the mold/mildew/budrot resistance is terrible. These are very drought resistant, and in dry climates these will do okay outdoors so long as you feed them well. Many pictures of pre-harvest ABCs look skimpy and lacking hardly any bud, and that in my opinion is from not feeding enough of the good stuff.
