She was repotted today into a 5 gallon grow bag, and that will serve as her home for the rest of the grow.
The soil in the bottom half is pro-mix all purpose, and the soil in the top half is a mixture of coco coir, perlite, biochar, worm castings, blood meal, bone meal, Epsom salts, and a small amount of Greenleaf Cal-Mag.

She has acclimated to her new fabric pot and is expanding her roots quickly. She is looking healthy and content for the moment. Lighting was flipped to 12/12 and by next week she should be showing pre-flowers.

She was topped last week, and yesterday all her fan leaves were removed to begin the training process. One of the shoots is taking off fast, but that's just how it goes sometimes. Her stem is getting very thick already. At only 28 days old, she may end up being a real weight-lifter.
The lighting in the tent was flipped to 12-12 on June 1st, so I'm making this week the first week of flower to mark that flip, which is standard practice for indoor growing, while waiting for pistils is standard for outdoor growing. I don't harvest until Trichomes are ready anyway, so it's all just a formality.

She's just starting to go into flower, with some very early pre-flower pistils appearing. They are definitely very Indica looking, no surprise there.
There was a minor setback with uneven hormone distribution in the limbs, which left some branches weak and skinny and not developing fast enough, and so I made the call to trim her back to just 4 main tops that were healthy, and remove the malformed and weaker branches. I've done a 4-banger before and it turned out very nice with decent yields.
I'm mainly growing this girl to see if there's any breeding potential with Crush Kush (not this plant, just the strain), so the extra stress she's undergoing is all part of the process and so far she's showing promise.
I expect by next week that she will be stretching and branching and throwing out pistils everywhere, and then she'll be off to the races.

She is now stretching, and should continue to do so for the next couple of weeks. Humidity has been dropped down to a 50% RH target, and temperature target in the 65-75F range to keep her happy as she progresses into flower.

I did some heavy defoliation on the weekend, mostly getting rid of the large fan leaves and doing some LST on most of the branches to get them away from the stems and into the light. I may just trim off all the larf and lower branches as they're not going to yield more than a few grams by the looks of things.
She's now stretching and budding and pushing out new nodes and fan leaves all at the same time as she reaches for the light, which is somewhat comical to watch. I anticipate the stretch should be finished by this weekend, but the colas themselves will likely keep pushing upwards as they fatten up.
Her smell is being completely overpowered by the blueberry beside her, but a stem/leaf rub near the top is faintly giving off that classic orange crush/orange popsicle aroma.

The stretch is done and she has finished her first week of mid-flower. Her smell is getting stronger, still being overpowered by the blueberry beside her but starting to add in her own savory aroma to the mix. Her soil was flushed yesterday and her reservoir cleaned out as she is definitely not lacking in nitrogen, and from here on out the only nitrogen she'll have is whatever is left in the soil and her leaves.
Last week she underwent her final round of high stress, having all her lower vegetation and branches removed. There's been no sign of any herming or negative reactions throughout the weeks of daily chopping, topping and contortion. With only 4 colas and no branches, she is free to pile all of her energy into them. The trichome density on the flowers is very nice, and her canopy is almost perfectly flat and gathering in lots of energy. From here on out it should be a stress-free ride for her.

She's completed 2+ weeks of bulking up and her colas are expanding fast in all directions. The nitrogen toxicity that was starting last update appears to be under control now. The leaves are still greyish on top, but leaf tips aren't pointing down which is a good sign.
I've switched out the ph perfect bloom nutrients for Greenleaf Kelp Extract for the potassium and calcium boost, and to avoid feeding her any more nitrogen or phosphorus, as there's still plenty in the soil that needs to be used up.
Over the past week or so I've noticed that the sugar leaves are getting some purple trichomes on them, as well as some of the flowers. That was not expected, but it makes this strain all the more of a sleeper in QCS' catalogue if it ends up tasting/smelling great and having decent effects. The genetics are a bit wonky for sure, and the flowers in person are quite big with trichomes as thick as thieves.
I'm hoping to harvest this one at the same time as the blueberry, and although this girl is 6 days younger I think the timing will work out, it just may happen quicker than I anticipated. QCS strains are known for maturing fast, and this girl is no exception.
