@yggy-420, oh I will take a look! I found a huge caterpillar on my plant the other day- it did not eat any of my leaves - it was just sitting on a stem- weird??
@Susquihanna,
Thanks, that are Predatory mites, "Amblyseius cucumeris" and "Amblyseius californicus". I use these as a preventative measure to protect against spider mites and tripse.

So, I am reading about defoliation this am. Thought what I would share from @Seedsmans.
1. Pair defoliation with LST (low-stress training) to shape the canopy more naturally. Bending branches outward can often achieve more than scissors alone.
2.Never remove more than 10-20% of the plant’s foliage in one go.
3. Every leaf contributes to the plant’s energy cycle.
4.Be strategic. You’re not just cleaning up; you’re sculpting airflow and sunlight pathways.
