Lemon Kush is an easy to grow strain. It is not a bushy variety and has a very sativa dominant growth pattern but with Indica dense buds. It does not get very bushy so there is no need to defoliate. Light will get right down to the very bottom of the plant so there is no need to strip away any lower growth. Everything fills out. Out of 9 plants i may have tossed away 5 whispy buds off the bottom, but the rest was all dense and frosty. Lemon Kush does not lend itself to topping very well, so if you have this strain (if it still exists, Breeder is no longer in business) you may not get the desired growth pattern you were looking for. You will not end up with 2 tops. The side branches are all you will get. This strain doesn't grow any leaves out of the nodes on the main stalk. Breeder claims 19% to 26% THC range. This run I stressed the plants severely the final week in an effort to create more resin. The lights were left on 24 hrs a day for 3 days and then only darkness. I did notice a few bananas in the buds. Not many though and nothing viable that would produce pollen. I'm not sure if the stress i put the plants under the final week caused that, but i never saw anything through the course of the grow, and there was no signs of seeds during the trim. Why this platform asks for the wet bud weight is beyond me. Who cares about weighing water? To me, the dry weight is the number people want, so i'm not going to bother pulling all the buds off the drying rack just to weigh water weight and then put them all back on the rack. Just stupid if you ask me. Pictures will come when the drying process has completed. As well as dry weights for each plant in grams. Plants were harvested and wet trimmed by hand using scissors. Carefully trimming and cutting away as much leaf material and stem as possible. Then placed on a drying rack in the bathroom. My place is warm always because of the temperature in the hallway outside, so heat just wofts in from under the doorway. It can be -40c and i don't need to turn my thermostat on. The positive air pressure in the hallways makes it so i can run without carbon filters and there is no odor in the hallways at all. So in the bathroom the temperature averaged 24c. No extraction fan except for when i went in to pee. Otherwise lights off and no exhausting. Humidifier was set to higher than normal to slow the drying process. Humidity was set to 70% and the flowers were left on the rack for a full 7 days. After the 7 days had past the buds were inspected and deemed dry enough (but still a little moisture in the middle) they were bagged up into a 1lb Grove bag for curing and continued evaporation down to 62% Humidity monitor placed inside the bag. Grove bags are great. They will hold the perfect humidity without the addition of a Boveda Pack, and will also allow for the gas off of chlorophyll without having to burp 100 jars every week or day or whatever. Reviews. Nutrient
This is an excellent nutrient line that produces great results. It's my nutrient line of choice. When i burn through my other nutrients i will settle on IPP for all future grows. Careful with the Black Storm product. It's extremely messy and will stain anything it touches. I don't recommend it be used in a hydroponic water culture or drip system. You can use the product line and omit the Black Storm and still get great results.
I ran out of Sea Storm and couldn't get more so i opted for this stuff. Whether it was good or bad is anyone's guess. It didn't kill my plants so....

The tent is awesome, like most of AC Infinity's products. High quality zippers that never get fucked up or jammed. No light leaks. Thick material, solid pin snap together thick metal poles.

Harvest went as usual. Each plant was hand trimmed and took approx 2.5 hours each. Every bud was a pleasure to trim. Everything was frosty and chunky. Thats why i love this strain because nothing really goes to waste. My house reaks pretty bad right now. Buds are drying in 1 of my bathrooms. Unfortunately i don't have the ability to drop the bathroom temps to 60F. The bathroom's average temp is about 74F so i am trying to offset that by increasing the humidity in the drying area to 65% I have a small non oscillating clip fan in there blowing air indirectly just for air movement in the space, and a humidifier to maintain a consistent 65% humidity. Usually I have access to a cool basement where i can dry properly, but this time I'm in a 2nd floor apt so I'm doing my best with what I have to work with. Harvested buds were wet trimmed and dried on a mesh rack. Dried in darkness with a 65 to 70% humidity and between 24c and 25c. Humidity was increased to the numbers mentioned to try to counter the elevated temps. No molds, no nuthing. Dried nicely. Now the harvest will be left in the grove bag for 1 month to cure. The ice cream bucket is exactly 100 grams. The damn scale kept shutting off and wouldn't hold my tare. So any number over 100, just minus 100 g and thats the bud weight.

Best guess as to what this is caused by? Only appears on upper half of the plant. Lower half is healthy and normal. Flushed with 5 Liters of 6.4 pH water stopped the progression

The symptoms you're describing, with damage mainly on the upper half of the plant's leaves, could be indicative of nutrient imbalance or pH fluctuation. Leaf burn at the edges suggests a potential excess of certain nutrients. The fact that flushing with pH-adjusted water stopped the progression is a good sign. It likely helped remove excess salts or imbalances in the growing medium. To troubleshoot further: Check pH Levels: Regularly monitor the pH of your water and soil. Ensure it remains within the optimal range for your plants. Fluctuations can affect nutrient uptake. Nutrient Levels: Assess the nutrient levels in your soil. Excessive amounts of certain nutrients can lead to leaf burn. Consider using a balanced, well-formulated fertilizer. Watering Practices: Ensure that you are not overwatering or underwatering. Both extremes can stress the plant and affect nutrient uptake. Lighting: If the issue is only on the upper leaves, evaluate your lighting setup. Too much intensity or proximity of the light source can cause leaf burn. Keep a close eye on your plants, and if you notice any new developments or changes, adjust your care accordingly. Sometimes, these issues can be trial-and-error to find the perfect balance for your specific growing conditions.

Good stuff for first coco grow! I’ve been on sites with the Female Seeds brand but never purchased any of their stuff. This will be good to see

@FrontRowAG_BrianG, I bought the seeds in 2011 and have kept them in the fridge all that time.

@Kitties_and_Colas, Nothing unusual that i've noticed. I did a fair bit of research before i put them in there. All the data i read seemed to lean towards it not having an effect on them. I can't express how valuable having cameras in the grow is. Game changer for me. Allows my laziness to soar to new heights! lol

Hey @AutoflowersSucK have you noticed any abnormal/weird revegetative growth since using your cameras?.. I ask because we had a lot of issues with hermis and mutated leaves couple years and someone mentioned it could be the infrared light from our night vision cameras disrupting their dark period..We seem fine since my husband removed the cameras but it may not even be related, I thoght id ask someone who uses them, thank you for any input! 👊😺

@BudBoutique, I can't express enough how valuable having cams in your tents is. I love to sit and watch my plants. I find it relaxing to watch the leaves rustle and to just look them over and relax. The thing with that habit is that you have your tent open and you fuck up your VPD. With the cams, i can check on my plants anywhere in the world as long as i have a internet connection. I can lay in bed and put the cam on and just watch them live. I look at them through the cameras so often that i have a very good understanding of them and how they grow. If an issue arises, like droubt or over feeding burn, i can see it pretty quickly and get in there to rectify the problem. Or if my oscillating fan stops working, or if any equipment should fail.

"Some of the plants are having trouble establishing a capillary action and drawing up the water from the bases" Had that issues with high ppm/ec with my lemon durban autos they never drank the bottom half of the pot. root systems were bad when i checked after harvest.

@AutoflowersSucK, should mention it doesnt physically rotate like yours, but you can flip from landscape to portrait. And usually they have 120 degree angle or better. Just a way to reuse old phones that sit in drawers. And with phones fitting easy into those bendy style holders theyre easy to mount and throw on a charger. Just dont let them bake directly in the light, id be worried about the batteries getting hot. Constant charge + recording/broadcasting + heat from light.. id place it above a light and have a fan on it or throw an old heat sink on the back if you notice it getting hot-hot I use one as a webcam for discord, but never put one in a tent.. so there might be some spicey variables to consider.

@GYOweed, Ya thats a shame. The female seed i had was a freebe from a seed purchase back in 2011. I had the seed in my fridge for 10 years. I just got rid of the mother from seed this year but kept a clone of it and now i have a new Lemon Kush Mother from Clone. I like the plant. It hardy and really tough. Doesn't bush up much so no need to defoliate. Grows in a classic sativa pattern but with not too much height. My particular crop is going to be a 9 week finish, and thats 9 weeks to get the bulk of your trichomes cloudy. Next weekend i'll be chopping them down.

So you dried 1010g down to 505? Only 50% dry? You should dry down to 12% to prevent pathogens. your bud must be mouldy by now. Way to cheat and bump up your grams per plant average though.
