Hey Cheechy. Yeah I wish space was not an issue. For all the reasons you listed about LST is exactly why I grow my auto’s from Night Owl Seeds. Daz, who is the founder and breeder of N. O. Doesn’t just make cross breeds and release them, it takes him sometimes well over two years of growing two dozen plants and picking the two best and so on. He is so proud about his work, and he should have, he will explain in detail how the strain came to be. I am not going to LST or top my plants so feel free to tag along and watch these two girls strut their stuff. When trimming,cutting and tying autoflowers the when, how and why are ever more important to get right or suffer the consequences and at the moment I am not willing to do that.
My last run I did two small plants 27 inches tall did no training had two dozen branches with well over 200 flowers per plant. Over four ounces each. So why top. You can always do some research and find strains that will naturally stay small and are heavy yielders. Night Owl has a bunch of great different strains that will do just that.
