Hey there, Cannafam. Welp it's officially a wrap on this, Granddaddy Purple and so here are my thoughts on this grow. Firstly I wanna say that I've been growing for close to eight years now and I've grown both photo periods as well as auto flowers during the years and I must say that growing this strain was most definitely one of the most challenging grow that I have ever had when it comes to nutrient deficiencies. The vegetative stage as well as the seedling stage was just fine, had a very healthy beautiful plant throughout those times and thought that it would be the same in the flowering stage but boy was I wrong lol. Within the first couple of weeks I was faced with a calcium deficiency and then when I got that under control I had to deal with a magnesium deficiency, was driving me crazy lol. I hope that after the buds are finished drying and than curing for a minimum of 4 weeks before I smoke that the headache was worth it. The buds didn't turn purple as I was hoping for but I'll be fine with that so long as the smoke is 🔥. I will most definitely be sure to update this diary one last time to let y'all know what I think of the bud and what the dry weight is so until next time, happy growing 💋👌🏼💨

Well, Cannafam this is gonna be my last update on this grow because it's a mf WRAP! Lol Since my last update I stopped feeding and starting flushing the girls for a week and than let them dry out and soak up all of the moisture in the soil than at that point it was time for the chop. My last few grows I been just chopping the whole plant and hanging it, use to cut off portions but this method is better for me and it's a lot less of a headache. As of today they have been drying for 9 days and tomorrow on the 10th I'm gonna be entering trim jail because they're dry.

As I said previously, a friend of mine sent me these seeds. His friend gave him a clone of this strain and when he grew it he made seeds using collider silver. Going into this grow I didn't really know what to expect, took much longer than I expected and the genetics were different in all 3 of the plants. One of them only grew to a little over a foot and the two others grew to be double that size but the texture and size of the buds were very different. After the harvest it took 7 days for them to dry. As of to they've been in jars getting cured for 1 week exactly. The smoke is super relaxing and puts me in a creative state of mind. The flowers have a bright citrus scent with mellow undertones of earthiness and wood.

📝SOUR JACK GROW DIARY UPDATE !📌 🤗👉THE HARVEST👈🤗 👌👄💨 Welp Grow Diaries Fam it's FINALLY time 2 harvest this Sour Jack girl of mine.Although this wasn't my 1st time around the block with this strain,grew two others last year which u can see some of in the beginning of this diary,it was a far better over all experience than it was the first time.All of my grow conditions were the same except for just a few slight differences. I went up in my pot size from a 3 gallon to a 7 gallon and this time I also topped the plant which by the way was my 1st time using that method and lastly I also put the plant in to 48 hours of darkness before chopping her down which was also a 1st for me.I more importantly than anything allowed her 2 fully develop & harvested at just the right time which I wasn't able to do with the other two last year because I was in the process of moving & had to harvest a couple of weeks early. I'm very happy to report that it most definitely paid off.This one plant yielded what both of the others did combined & I found that the 48 hrs of darkness did increase the trichomes to a little bit.Overall it was a simple grow just as it was the first time.I didn't have any issues with deficiencies of any kind & she always bounced back very quickly anytime that I performed any LST on her or defoliated any leaves.Other than the amount of time that it took to grow I have no complaints about this strain.The bud is a very smooth head high.Its a little more of a daytime strain but its also smokable at night.Its going to make u feel motivated & creative as well as relaxed at the sometime. If you have the time than I would definitely recommend growing this strain at least once.
