@Grey_man_2074, Lots of growers who use organic soils are fervently anti-flush saying it does no good. If *I* was using a organic soil in a small pot that had very, very good drainage (lots of Perlite, or similar), I would flush. If the soil is quite thick and in a big pot, I would not as I would worry about root-rot.
I'm in two minds about flushing within two weeks of pencilled in harvest. I used to like harvesting the plant when pot was dry, so the plant had less water in it and dried faster. Now, I like to slow-dry, so I don't mind if their pot has some water left in it, although drying takes a day or two longer (small potatoes in the grand scheme of things). Thinking about Autumn, when the plants are in the wild and flowering, it is generally a bit soggier than Summer, so I think cannabis plants are used to wet conditions when they near their end.
