@JUNGLE_B4RNS, Couldn't find anything much local. Most of the stores have put away the gardening supplies. I'm in a small town with a foot of snow on the ground. Most people aren't gardening right now! ;)
@JUNGLE_B4RNS, I agree, BUT I really wanted to be able to lift the pots to check for weight (while watering) and I wanted to be able to switch the plants around / rotate them to the light so that was the best I could come up with. I still have two to finish, ran out of string yesterday while the stores were all closed.
@Ripper, I never did see any more of them. I really couldn't identify them as any of the common crop pests so I will chock it up as an abnormality.
Thanks for checking in though! Props.
@Sillyasswhitedude,Thank you! Yep, last night was tempting to pull the second one! LOL but she managed to make it through without the crazy guy cutting into her!
So much restraint is needed. I know I need to do the right thing here and let her go longer.
BTW, I am using a cheap $20 USB microscope off ebay/amazon. Nothing fancy but it is perfect for taking snaps of the trichomes.
Yep, holidays are great, that reminds me, maybe I should go get a glass of some eggnog or apple cider.
@Sillyasswhitedude, thanks, I apreciate that you took this much time to reply. yes I realize I probably cut her early. I was impatient and wanted to try it so bad not feeling it anymore for the second plant. I am watching the second one closely to understand how it fills out. (I learn by trying)
I added a second 315W CMH to the room yesterday. The table is now 3 feet x 7 feet so each 315W covers a 3x3.5 area. I think this works well now and am not worried about light coverage.
I figured about 8 plants at a time in this space. I agree I really need to cull the lot. 16 plants that are in there will be reduced to no more than 8 once I decide which ones to keep. I talk about this in more depth in my other grow.
