Easy grow and the only strain (out of 3) that didn't try to grow 4 ft. 3 and 1/2 yes, but not insane, this-is-a-problem height. The AC1 up front is just as frosty and lower buds are just as dense and the JB and GP1 but the bushier pheno in the back def dealt with a little more neglect than the girls up front. Prob end up with a little more larf from both back-row plants.

The fastest growing, frostiest and most photogenic of all the girls this run. Huge hard-ass nugs all the way down stalks that grew as long as my arm. Quality tbd but i don't know that I could do any better. NOTE: Don't let buds get at long as my arm again, or you won't have as much smoke-able weed (as you would with many tops, all getting the max light).

Effortless but she grew 4 ft after being topped. Huge colas and the buds are incredibly dense all the way down.

Stanky, gassy and covered in red hairs, this strain has kick, but I'll probably grow CC again instead, considering the CC strain's different phenos are all a little more potent and the CC and LAC strains are just so similar. The LAC buds were also not really as dense, except for the very top colas and even then they lacked the tightness that I got with the CC. Strong smoke, very stanky and gassy, with big head highs that come in little waves, but again - so similar but not quite as potent as the CC.

Second run of CC and second successful run ever, so consider that but there's a reason I ran it again. 4oz is my biggest yield-er this run, and last CC run I had a plant go 10oz. Top early, but let her recover and get bushy before flipping. Smells like gas and mustard, even without the foxtailing, and kicks harder than the LAC.

I chopped 2-3 weeks too early, and it's unfair to blame the genetics when I was trying for only my 2nd successful grow. They looked healthy but under-developed, smallish and I stunted them by flipping to flower too soon after topping them.

I've had weak autos with more potency. Two plants, very small fairly tight buds covered in orange hairs, and it's a pretty "reveal" when you peel off the leaves. Gassy stinky and although it isn't cured, I'm just talking about the effects. If a strain has some nice smells, tastes, colors - that's just a bonus. Truly the only things I care about are potency and (a distant 2nd is) yield. Weak for a regular smoker. I could've let them go a week or two longer, to be completely fair, but the grow was almost perfect otherwise. Prob won't run Ripper again with so many others to try out. The Planet of the Grapes that I'm running, along with Cali Connection LA Cookies and Mamiko Chem Cookies put both of these strains to shame already. Looking back a month after harvest I think I chopped 2-3 weeks too early, and it's unfair to blame the genetics when I was trying for only my 2nd successful grow. They looked healthy but under-developed, smallish and I stunted them by flipping to flower too soon after topping them.

Only a tough grow because the big girl went absolutely nuts stretching in flower. Beautiful grow otherwise, just have the head-room and be willing to wait a good 70 days (unless I stunted them, which is possible- one girl was way too close to the light). I'll have more to say, and more numbers soon but super frosty, super stanky and the bud structure on all three sure look a lot like the GMO strain (my wife is freaking out every time I burp the jars). Even if not, this is heavy indica, narcotic-headband weed, dried down to 64-65% in only 6 days at 65-73F and 55-65rh. So freaking happy with the results and potency, even before the cure. Thanks Mamiko! DAMN! EDIT: 1 Month after harvest and I'm still amazed. We've picked up some dispo 'Platinum' quality flower just to compare, some 20% GG4, and neither of us (the wife or myself) are touching it. I'm a daily smoker of 35 years. I'm not exaggerating that this is 1-and-done top shelf potency (until the very end of the day). Finally saw a gleaf selling "Chem Cookies" in a neighboring state (Va still suffers from poor quality because dispos have to grow their own in-state): 30% THC. Check Allbud- 28-30? The harshness and potency was overwhelming at first, and after getting COVID last year I just can't say much about taste and smell (other than skunky, diesel) but now cured for a month- holy hell! Smoother, but still sticky and stinky af. 👌

Had some humidity issues but she pushed through without any real problems. This was a great strain to learn from, and now that she's been harvested, I can't touch her without my daughter asking "What's that smell?" My wife won't let me open the jar while my kid's in the house anymore, and the best way to describe the smell is "A Whale's Vagina" but my wife also said that my sense of smell has lost it's mind since COVID and I don't know what I'm talking about. Regardless, this is the stickiest, stankiest stuff I've grown (although I haven't grown much) but I wished I'd waited for more amber because I like to become one with the couch, and whenever I hear the term "daytime buzz" I just think "weakass buzz." Very easy to grow, as I said, and hopefully she cures into a stronger body buzz but again, I haven't grown much so I will know more in two weeks. 33g - so pretty good for a noob with a weak light. EDIT: I threw it out because it was another weak ass auto. To be fair I've just now (18 months later) got my stuff dialed in and I will try autos again, but when I can veg for 4 weeks and flower for 9 why would I ever grow autos again? Light leaks/power consumption? Not a good enough reason when my #1 concern is quality/potency.

Cruise-control grow. Took topping and light LST really well. Long colas, dense and leafy but not CDLC-leafy just normal leafy. No clue about wet weight but 83g dry weight from the first plant (chopped on day 81). The 2nd DG was chopped on day 83 and yielded 60 grams of super-sticky frosty looking buds. Unfortunately the high is less than impressive and likely my fault. Not sure what the reason(s) are exactly but likely suspects: Temps in the shed were a little high in veg but we had some high humidity that I never got control of - that lasted all the way through flower (60-75%). Not letting that happen again. Another likely reason- putting these 2 in with 3 full grown girls under a single 200w light, but I think the MOST likely reason 3 different plants (2 different strains) were weak (all Mephisto, so top notch genetics): I just cut them down too soon. I probably looked at trichomes on leaves- not a good sign. Next time I'll aim for 85+ days but also make sure some kind of obvious senescense is happening before I even think about trichomes. Really disappointed because I don't expect the intensity of the high to improve with curing, just the smoke quality and taste. There's a good amount of keef so that helps and I'll let the rest sit in the dark and stew. It sucks but it was naive to think I could throw a grow tent into a shed (without even an ac at the time) and just wing-it! This is the price, but I've already doubled the light output, added co2, seedling heat mats, a big ass humidifier, etc just busy now adapting to a whole new season- and new challenges with temps more than humidity so far.

So bushy, and leafy I think it's a bit of a challenge for a 1st time grower tbh. Super impressive genetics though and the gassiest thing I've ever smelled that wasn't gas. Just about "idiot-proof" and super-potent but again, maybe a better fit for your 2nd or 3rd grow instead of the very first. Still- hard to be upset with such sticky, stanky, dark dense buds! Def has that big head hit effect right away and just makes you kinda wince through the exhale. EDIT: Had to return to revise my review. A great first run, but after learning and growing a lot over 2 years I can't say that I knew wtf I was doing at all at the time and temp changes were likely too extreme, humidity too high, etc. The weed was good not great. All my grows, and I think this is only human, look better than they turned out for the first year of growing. Not until my first photo run did I start to figure it out. Everyone says "start with autos" but instead I think I should've started with the basics, with photos, learned to train, how long to veg, which medium, etc. The other side of that argument is that you make your mistakes faster, more often with autos if you're willing to learn from those mistakes. I didn't grow autos again for 2 years, but now that I'm confident and know wtf I'm doing, let's see what these autos can really do.
