Winter Grow 2026 (Phylos Cheddar Cheese)

Skynet Topped in Wk4 and at the end of Wk5. I could top again but I'm hoping my Crystal Cookies will finish up this week, that will free up the big tent (I veg indoors and flip them in a shed out back that has a 3x4 tent, an ac, big dehumidifier and tent-heaters). I'm hoping the Cheddar Cheese are as impressive as what I picked up at the dispo one random day. I was irritated to be spending on weed again at the time, but found Phylos site and they make compelling promises about potency and yield. So far they've outperformed Mamiko but look a lot like the In House that grew so well and are finishing now- they responded to topping exactly like you want with 9-10 tops each, thriving bushes with a flat canopy. All 4 are nearly identical. It was a staggered germination- a couple are behind by a week but they'll all flip soon. 👊

Skynet Started to lollipop at the end of week 2, thinking it wouldn't be bad if I stunted them a little. Tallest plants I've ever grown. These CC have been monsters, and all the same monsters, super tall with 2+ feet of crazy stacking, you'll see with the Week 3 pics I'll post in a min. They're also the thirstiest plants I've ever grown, every other day .5 to .75 gallons each. But it's awesome seeing all the bud sites and knowing we'll get our best growing weather for the rest of flower (for shed-growing at least, at night). They'll get pretty close to 77 degrees and 60% rh for the next 2 months. Nothing really but what's listed. GrowDots do all the feeding until week 4-5 of flower. Good luck out there!

Skynet Exploding growth. They're at least 48 inches, the stacking is nuts and I'll start to supplement or just outright feed with liquids soon (the Flora Trio primarily). Can't wait to see what happens in the next month plus. Thanks for visiting! Good luck out there!

Skynet I've been lollipop'ing since Day 5 of flower bc the bottom 1/3 (now 1/5 they've grown so much) of these Cheddar Cheeze exploded with growth that was too far below the canopy to get enough light. So maybe twice a week since then, but I went slow for the first two weeks. The Chem Cookies were genetically f'd up, didn't begin flowering by week 3 but stretched almost 5 ft, drank like a sailor and prayed to the sun like a dying aztec priest. I cut her down. New growth was neon, wispy and gave indications of light stress but again, leaves pointed straight up. I'm concerned about running this strain again bc I previously had issues germinating Chem Cookies. I loved it when I first started growing, but the latest (the last year or so) batch has been disappointing. Taking a break from them bc In House strains recently (Crystal Cookies, Slurriking, Slurricane 7) have turned out great and these Phylos CC's are looking like absolute monsters. Added 1 ml of LKB to get ahead of the GrowDots running out around Week 5. As long as leaf tips show that tiny bit of discolor/burn I'll hold off on the Flora Trio but I know now that I've got to watch 2x a day and act immediately. I also want to replace Diamond Nectar with Floralicious next round. Looks like I'm growing fluffy cotton balls and the stacking is perfect. I'm not happy about 3-4 tops being about 7" from the light but thankfully the stretch is over. Thanks for visiting! 👊😤
