Webacca 🍌🌠 Just in time for the vacation, the new Bananakin Skywalker from Zamnesia arrived and I decided to try planting it directly in substrate. After all, I can't just germinate on paper and then transplant. Trying makes wise! What can I say? One day later, you can see the germination point, and another 4½ hours later, the sprout is clearly visible. Incredible 😳😳 Awesome And this is the FIRST grow for this strain at GD! *proud After 4 days, there are already several centimeters visible. Respect. I've got a growth-happy young lady here. At the end of the month, I gave another lady a chance to germinate. Again, it only took 3 days until she was in the soil.

Webacca It gets longer, but somehow not stronger. Strange. Letting the 2nd seed germinate in a paper towel. Showed up promptly and is going into soil early. They're photos anyway, so the growth difference shouldn't matter that much. I hope! 😁 Both are now in 11-liter pots. May the force be with you, young Padawans!

Webacca Suddenly, they kick into gear and push out 12cm in 3 days. The tips are forming something like flower sites. I interpret that as stretch and transition into the flowering phase. Exciting! Coffee grounds vs pH. Let's see if it does anything.

In the two pictures, you can see purple leaf edges on at least 3 leaves of the larger Padawan. The smaller one has nothing. Is there reason to worry, especially since the flowering still takes a few weeks? Or is everything fine and just wait it out? Both are fertilized and watered the same way.

looks like nitrogen deficiency... if it stays relegated to lowest, shielded leaves, i'd hold off on a reaction. If it progresses up the plant at all, bump N a bit while trying to maintain levels of other elements. The reddish pigmentation is just fall colors coming out - probably had lower night time temps lately? You can ignore that.

Webacca Same procedure as last week. Not growing any further, buds are getting a bit thicker and are still cloudy. First hint of amber has arrived, but that could also be wishful thinking 🤣 One bud showed signs of mold and was removed immediately. Ventilation wasn't working due to lack of sunlight. It's time for them to ripen.

Webacca Even though they are "technically" too big for my grow tent, they've now moved. A little warmth and proper light can't hurt in the last week(s). After just a few days, the leaves are turning purple. Wherever that might be coming from, it looks good. Following the advice of the lovely @BeautyBudsVio, I adjusted the nighttime temperature.

Es wurde Zeit. Trichome bräunlich, hie und da ne Laus und ein Bud, der wg Schimmel entsorgt werden musste. Unterm Strich aber schon ordentlich was auf der Waage. Die etwas ältere LST Dame mit 214g, die zweite mit 102g. 20 bzw 10g trocken. Irgendwie doch enttäuscht Allerdings weigern sich die 2 abgeernteten Ladies einzugehen. Mal schauen ob ich was versuche mit den Fallen Order Padawans

Webacca It was about time. Trichomes brownish, here and there a pest, and a bud that had to be disposed of due to mold. All in all, though, quite a bit on the scale. The slightly older LST lady with 214g, the second one with 102g.
