I started the spring with the experimental "Black Mamba 42," and here are my impressions. The plant spent 108 days indoors. Roots appeared on day two, and the seedlings shed their seed shells on day four. The plant stretches significantly in height; I managed to fit it into a 130 cm tall grow box by topping it and training the branches outward with plastic clips. At day 108, the buds were still a bit small; they could have easily gone another 2–4 weeks. The scent was moderately intense—nothing overpowering. Visually, the buds turned out to have medium density. The maximum wet weight for the two plants combined was 300g; I expect to harvest a solid 50g dry. We’ll know the exact figure in seven days—I don't like weighing wet material with the stems attached. As for issues: one plant suffered from acidification around day 15 (due to a faulty meter), which severely stunted its growth. Towards the end, the grow box was hit by spider mites. I also left it on an auto-watering system (using a 15L jug) for a week, and it dried out a bit. I had another plant from an international seed bank in the same group for comparison, and it handled the identical conditions perfectly. This strain isn't the easiest to grow and is a bit finicky. It requires a 2-meter-tall indoor grow space; in a one-meter space, without bending or training, the tops will get burned by the light around day 30–40 from seed. Bottom line: I didn't love the strain, though I’ll give it another shot later with the remaining seed. I plan to try seeds from two other banks. I recommend this strain to anyone with a 2-meter grow box who enjoys long grow cycles and cultivating massive Sativa monsters—and to anyone wanting to support our local breeders. Thanks for the experience! See you in future reports.

Looking at the parents and their organoleptic profiles, it turned out that each plant seemed to lean toward one of the parents aroma-wise. #3 was the only plant that combined both dessert notes and blueberry. So yes, that kind of pheno can definitely be found. #4 was more on the Gorilla side: pine, citrus, herbs. #1 and #2 were more cookie-leaning. In the jar they have a creamy, milky aroma with herbal notes — you could call it sweet cookies. As for color, I didn’t manage to find a fully black pheno. There were attempts, sure, but nothing went completely black from top to bottom. Maybe it needed more than 10 weeks for that, but personally I’m not ready to push it that far. These days, 8–9 weeks is not just a vague breeder estimate — it’s the actual target window for me. I’m also not a fan of heavy amber. I still want to feel the THC, not CBN, and I want the terpene profile at its peak. The smell on #3 changed after week 8 of flower, and in my opinion not for the better. That’s just what happened. I didn’t notice the same thing on #1, #2, or #4 — their smell just kept getting stronger. Overall, these were pretty loud plants. I had to replace the carbon filter near the end of the grow. The effects are slightly different between phenos as well, but all three share one major trait: almost no paranoia. And I’m definitely the kind of person who can get stuck in his head, so a lot of strains don’t really work for me because of that. Trich Beast was fairly good in that regard, but Mamba still beats it on this point. So far I’ve only had the chance to test each one once. The buds are still curing, so it’s too early to give a proper flavor report. In general, the smell does carry over into the taste, but with a clear pine/resin note. I’ll write a more detailed update later. In terms of duration, the main effect lasts solidly for around two hours, then slowly fades out over the next couple of hours. No weed hangover, and the comedown is very smooth. The only side effects were dry mouth and, obviously, dry eyes. Maybe it’s just me, but the effect feels kind of reversed. First comes a relaxing, almost stoney phase for about half an hour, and then it starts picking up. There is creativity, there is focus, and if the mood is already good, there can be euphoria as well. That euphoria can be pushed a bit with a couple of good beers — the synergy works perfectly for me. Now I’ll try to rate it on a 5-point scale. Bud appearance: you can judge from the photos and videos yourselves, but I’d give it around 3.8. There is plenty of frost, but I’ve seen frostier plants. For example, I’d probably give Trich Beast around 4.2 on the same scale. #4 had rock-hard buds all the way down, except for the thinnest lower branches. #3 tried too, but without a healthy root system late in flower it’s hard to build proper lowers, so the bottom ended up mostly popcorn. I think #1 and #2 would have been closer to #4 if they had been grown properly. Aroma: if you find that exact pheno with the blueberry and pastry mix, it’s a bomb — 5/5. Search for it, find it, and hide it again. The other phenos are not something I’d call extremely unique, but the smell is strong, so I’d give them 3.5. Flavor: too early to judge properly, but for now I’d say 4. Effect: 4.5. The lack of paranoia is a huge plus. It has a lot of use cases: watching something, gaming, reading, talking, doing creative stuff, or working on a hobby. Not giving it a 5 only because there should always be some room to grow.

Cali Crasher
Growing it
Normal
Resistance

Extremely aromatic and characterful strain that particularly impresses with its balanced terpene profile. From the first contact, a pleasant scent rises, characterized by fresh citrus notes. Behind that, earthy nuances develop increasingly, accompanied by a distinct pine note. This combination creates a complex and natural smell that conveys both freshness and depth. Flavor-wise, Cali Crasher stands out significantly from many other strains. The first impression is dominated by a fine lemon note that gives the smoke a pleasant freshness. After a short time, the aroma transforms into stronger earthy tones before a spicy pine note unfolds in the aftertaste. This flavor development makes each puff interesting and varied. The smoke feels full-bodied and pleasantly smooth, allowing the terpene profile to unfold particularly well. The combination of lemon, earth, and pine provides an extraordinary taste that lingers on the palate. The effect sets in pleasantly evenly and develops into a relaxing but not overwhelming high. Initially, a pleasant mental calm becomes noticeable, pushing everyday stress into the background. Subsequently, a soothing physical relaxation spreads without directly leading to strong fatigue. This makes Cali Crasher excellent for the afternoon and evening. It is the ideal strain to unwind after a long day, relax, or simply enjoy leisure time in a calm atmosphere. The effect promotes tranquility and satisfaction while keeping the mind clear enough to consciously perceive conversations, music, or movies. The buds stand out with their elongated and pronounced structure. The individual calyxes are well-defined and form a rather airy to medium-dense bud structure with a lot of character. Instead of appearing extremely compact, the buds display a natural and lively shape that underscores their genetic heritage. Particularly striking are the numerous orange pistils that generously spread across the entire bud, creating a strong contrast to the green and partially darker areas. The resin production is at a high level. A dense layer of trichomes covers the buds, giving them a frosty appearance. Darker color accents are repeatedly visible among the resin heads, which, together with the strong orange stigmas, create a very attractive look. The buds appear high-quality, aromatic, and craft-grown, without looking overly polished or artificially perfect. Cali Crasher also impressed with its yield. The strain clearly performed in the upper range, delivering a respectable amount of high-quality buds. Particularly positive is that the good production performance does not come at the expense of aroma, resin formation, or overall quality. Cali Crasher combines a strong yield with an extraordinary terpene profile and a pleasant effect.️

presents itself as a pleasant, everyday strain with a very harmonious overall profile. Right from the first contact, fresh citrus notes rise to the nose, accompanied by a gentle earthy base. The aroma does not come across as aggressive or overloaded, but rather balanced and natural. The fruity freshness slightly reminds one of lemon peel and sweet herbs, while the earthy undertones give it a warm depth. This combination makes the strain particularly enjoyable for daily use. When smoked, the terpene profile is very soft and rounded. The first puff brings a light citrus freshness with a pleasant sweetness, which is immediately caught by a mild earthiness. In the background, subtle herbal and woody notes develop, keeping the flavor natural and clean. The smoke feels surprisingly mild in the throat and remains creamy without being harsh. The aftertaste leaves a slightly lemony freshness, accompanied by a dry, earthy finish. Overall, the aroma feels less loud than classic Diesel or Candy strains, but very balanced and relaxed. The effect fits perfectly into the daily routine. The high begins with a slight mental uplift and quickly brings good mood and inner peace. Thoughts remain clear, the mind is not overloaded, and one stays pleasantly functional. At the same time, a gentle physical relaxation spreads, loosening without becoming sluggish. This makes the strain excellent for daytime use – whether for relaxed conversations, creative activities, or simply a stress-free afternoon. It noticeably calms without completely shutting down motivation. The buds have a rather loose to medium compact structure with many visible details between the individual calyx layers. The buds appear naturally grown and not overly dense. Notable are the numerous orange pistils that clearly stand out against the light green and partially yellowish shimmering areas. Between the open structures sit plenty of trichomes, giving the buds a slightly frosty look. The surface feels lively and multi-layered, with small protruding calyxes and finely drawn sugar leaves. Overall, it creates a very authentic, artisanal impression with a pleasantly airy structure and solid resin formation.

Rock Machine
Growing it

Rock Machine lives up to its name from the very first moment. As soon as you open it, a massive diesel and gasoline smell hits you, making it clear which direction this strain is headed. The aroma is loud, heavy, and uncompromising. Behind the dominant fuel note, there are slightly spicy and earthy undertones that add depth to the whole experience. This strain does not come off as playful or fruity – the classic gas profile is clearly in the spotlight. When smoking, this intense terpene profile unfolds even more distinctly. The first puff immediately delivers a strong diesel flavor with an oily, almost gasoline-like sharpness on the tongue. The smoke remains surprisingly full-bodied and dense. In the background, slightly earthy and spicy notes emerge, giving the taste a heavy, almost "mechanical" characteristic. The aftertaste lingers for a long time, reminiscent of a mix of fuel, earth, and a slightly chemical Kush touch. This uncompromising profile makes the strain particularly interesting for lovers of classic diesel genetics. The effect builds up pleasantly and evenly, clearly heading in a relaxed direction. Initially, there's a slight mental looseness with a calm mood and pleasant serenity. Then, a noticeably physical relaxation sets in, which, however, does not feel completely sedating. Instead, a chill, calm high emerges that is perfect for unwinding without making you completely tired right away. Thoughts slow down, stress noticeably disappears, and the body feels pleasantly heavy and relaxed. Ideal for laid-back afternoons or quiet evenings when you just want to chill. The flower structure appears robust and resin-rich. The buds show a compact to slightly elongated shape with tightly stacked calyxes. The enormous resin production is striking, covering almost every surface with a frosty layer. Between the heavily frosted areas, numerous long orange pistils weave through the entire structure, creating a striking contrast. Overall, the flowers feel firm and solid but still have a slightly flexible consistency when pressed. The sugar leaves are tightly packed and also heavily covered in trichomes. Darker nuances appear among the light green areas, further emphasizing the heavy diesel character visually. Overall, the structure conveys a very robust, potent, and high-quality impression.

Harvest at the optimal point, with very compact, heavy buds completely covered in resin. The purple and reddish tones stand out, having fully expressed themselves in the last few days, giving a very striking finish. Intense and deep aroma, now fully defined, with a complex profile that promises to improve even more after curing. Clean cut, well-consumed plants, a sign of a well-executed end of cycle. Now everything goes to drying and curing, where the final quality will be rounded out.

Today I harvested The trichomes started turning amber in large quantities, and it became very difficult to control the humidity in the grow tent. The Black Mamba fully lived up to its name; I've never seen such a rich color. The aroma matches the color - deep, rich, and layered. But soft, not harsh, which makes me very happy. Let's see how the smell develops after curing. The plant grew with clear signs of indica dominance, stretching only slightly during flowering. I was also pleased with its resilience to high humidity levels. I can wholeheartedly recommend this strain for beginners (like me). More experienced growers will be able to unlock this strain's potential even better. A must-have for blueberry lovers, the aroma is divine. The SCROG method worked perfectly for this plant. Now I'm curious to see how the strain performs in other conditions, especially outdoors. Doctor's Choice impressed me with this photoperiod strain; I can confidently recommend it to everyone. I've previously dealt with autoflowers from Sasha, and the impressions were very pleasant️.
