Im really happy to return in growing and this outcome really glad me. But as first timer in coco I can say that I dont want it anymore! This thing with runoff control drive me really crazy! But no more! DWC or soil only!

I am disappointed because both of my plants succumbed to powdery mildew while my Grandma purple had no issues. recommend that this strain is grow indoors only as it is delicate and requires lots and lots of light.

THC - 15 - 20% 20% Indica/ 80% Sativa This was an enjoyable grow as it was my first time growing fully organic. Solid genetics by Dutch Passion. Not the typical lanky Sativa phenotype and quite easy to manage the canopy. But I still needed bamboo stakes to support the heavy buds. This was also my first self built automated watering/ drainage system. It was exactly what I needed because if I had to manually water them, I would surely have spilled the nutrient water everywhere and fishy smell for days. One of my complains on organic nutrients. The other would be fine tuning Biobizz nutrient doses based on plant symptoms. Unlike synthetic nutrients like GHE Flora Trio, it's quite challenging to add or decrease certain nutrient to correct the plant issues. On top of that, growing in soil made it even more difficult to identify and correct malnutrition. I'm not criticizing Biobizz, just personal preference. I prefer more control and faster recovery from training. I shouldn't have gone for mainlining while growing in soil. The recovery period took much longer than in coco or DWC. I'm more confident now that 36 hours of darkness prior to flip sends a strong signal for flowering. This is the third grow I've tried it and consistent result where all plants starts flowering the same time. This makes it much easier during harvest time. The smell during grow was only noticeable when I accidentally touched the buds. Mainly fruity. 4 plants after drying for 10 days came to a total of 531g. Quite pleased with yield.🙂 The buds are dense and thick. Used a dry herb vape for first smoke test. Fruity and spices aroma. Good head rush initially then plateaus after about 2 hours later. Immediate noticeable effect is boost of energy and calmness. Creativity is improved and more social as well. The only unfavorable effect is dry eyes. No paranoia or anxiety. Otherwise Strawberry Cough is awesome! So my impression on full organic grow is just meh. I was expecting stronger terpene profile but I dont see much difference compared to synthetic nutrients. This wasn't a side by side grow comparison to give more objective view but would I grow full organic again? Not anytime soon. So far after trying various growing methods, I'm most comfortable in coco. With automated watering/drainage system, I can still leave the plants for few days, maybe up to a week. AND maintain high frequency fertigation

Pheno was healthy and vigorous if quite lanky, took to some excessive training and pruning just fine. Grew very sativa, tall, long internodes, larfy mids and foxtaily buds. This pheno NEEDED scrog. I was not ready for how tall it grew, and didn't have a good way to trellis, so made things worse. She was a little picky with nutes, started to swing pH pretty quick after a week in my solutions until it was very dilute in the end, which likely stunted her a bit. Lots of leaves in the buds, I slightly overdried and a lot of lower buds just turned into popcorn, pain in the ass to trim but fairly frosty. Smell was fairly subtle throughout the grow and dry, really comes across when you break the trichomes. I like it but I was expecting more. A slight taste of berry sweetness comes through in the smoke. With an 11 day dry it smokes well, should cure nicely. Definitely feels like an all day kind of smoke, guessing THC is ~16% which is about what I wanted. I've smoked a few better, but also a lot that were worse.

Pretty clean sativa high. Buds smell great, but not much taste coming through, possibly from my grow errors or needs to cure longer.

She has been pretty hard to maintain throughout the grow. From the very start she remained short and bushy, which I had troubles with maintaining. In the end she weighed 32 grams, which is 2 times the weight of my previous sativa, Royal Haze. The tops are pretty dense and look beautiful. She started out pretty skunky, which later turned into sweet, citrusy aromas, no strawberries though. As for the effect: Great uplifting high, not too strong (which I like). Makes you wanna move, its hard to sit in 1 place sometimes - great daytime smoke :)

* Good comments: beautifull plant to grow, if you are worried about odor this is the strain you need, it doesn't smell like weed at all, it really smelled like fresh strawberries while trimming. She handled the mainlining like a champ! * bad comments: she needed alot of food, she was very hungry, plant was a little leafy so trimming took awhile but thats probly because i underfed. *other comments: failed with the mainlining because 100gram is just not a good yield for waiting 20weeks, so i wont be doing that again! Better luck next time, it was a great experiment tho and i learned alot.

Finally pulled the trigger on harvesting. What a great run! She was a great plant, super fun to grow and really quite easy. Some nutrient issues and then aphids near the end of flower, but nothing that caused too much concern. The buds turned out beautiful and big and dense. Love this strain - the smell is really unique, super strawberryery! Buds look great and crystally and sticky. Yield seems to be pretty good - my guess is between 6-10 ozs. Will confirm after dry. Drying now, will aim to cure for at least a week before giving it a test (I still have some of my indoor Strawberry Cough harvest kicking around so I am OK there). Will update with the smoke report, weight, and some pics of the finished buds!!! Also - my two clones are doing great, but about a week or two behind in flower. Should be good to harvest soon.

I am happy to have grown Dutch Passion’s Strawberry Cough again, this time as a clone. The strain comes as advertised - smells and tastes like strawberries. Nothing has knocked this off my list as one of the more fragrant and best tasting varieties. The individual grow was a tad disappointing in the end. One major detractor of the Strawberry Cough strain is that it produces a light yield, it has consistently given little product. Historically, I have settled with a smaller gram total, but this time it is a huge negative. My 7/10 rating is almost entirely yield. Heading into this experience I was thinking it may improve on its previous ratings.... wrong. Generally, it appeared to have went well during the grow. Overall, this generation stretched too much and got too tall and lanky. I see the benefits of a more squat plant. Cough did poorly in this state, I’m not sure if it was just the plant, the leaf distribution, or what, but the other plants/strains that stretched too much still produced massive crowns. I could criticize myself and say perhaps the food went away too quickly, but again I have other plants performing well with my feedings, as well as past Strawberry Plants. It was a bit veggie, stringy, not fun to harvest. I have high standards and any bleached, immature, or just puny flower was pitched. Either way, just not enough bud! Its a tease. The cannabis I did dry and cure is wonderful - sweet and berry like. Even without curing as long as last time it is still strong and enjoyable. One of the best tasting strains around. Effects are light to moderate sativa. Relaxing but not overly potent or trippy. I may take a break and explore some other fruity or fragrant types, but believe me I will be circling back. I may also keep Cough in the rotation. It is sooo good!

Came home after being away for a week, and she was ready! Seems pretty early (7 weeks of flower vs. recommended 9) but the trichomes are very amber....more than 30% I would say. The smell is absolutely incredible - so citrusy and delicious. The yield is pretty small, but I started flowering her around week 3-4, as I just wanted a little sampler before the end of the summer (I have another of this strain outdoors and she is huge). Can't wait to try it! Will update on the smoke in a week or two... **Smoke update - have now tried it (4 days of drying, 1 week of curing) and it is amazing. Just as described - energetic and clear and fun! Incredible smell, and great taste too. Love this strain.

Another go at Dutch Passion’s Strawberry Cough genetics. This was a monster crop given to me in the very early stages and it became a bushy beauty. No problems at any point - the plant was a breeze to grow and train. Growth was vigorous once it passed the clone stage. The plant took plenty of nutrients. If I was critical, the leaves yellowed in flower faster than I would want. Otherwise, no issues! The branches became long and packed with dense little nugs, probably a low to medium yield/bud size ... but that is an okay tradeoff mentioned later. The buds were still massive and dense enough that some crowns were horizontal and I had to tie the plant as a giant, resin filled bouquet. The buds are airy enough to dry effectively, and you can quickly enjoy the final product. The taste... is fantastic! Believe me, the smell and experience of Strawberry Cough is worth the trade for massive yields. It is intoxicating throughout growing but really peaks upon consumption. Taste can come through when vaping or smoking. It is an elite mixer weed (with other strains). Highly recommended, +1 to rating this time.

Strawberry Cough is definitely a recommendable strain. This particular plant bounced back from nighttime temperature issues and light damage to produce some beautiful, dense buds. Sweet, fruity smelling resin. No problems taking nutrients. Mild to moderate sativa high with a nice smooth taste that isn’t fuel or pine-like; just pure strawberry. This is a strong mixer weed that pairs with anything. I would for sure put Dutch Passion’s Strawberry Cough on a must-try list.

From the beginning of this grow, this particular seed of strawberry cough had many irregularities. The leaf patterns were unusual, the nodes were uneven and also missing in some spots, I'm assuming this could be due to lighting and or the genetics/phenotypes of this one seed. When flowering came and progressed i noticed the buds weren't your typical "cola" structure but more like cluster buds, even up high where your biggest buds would be and strongest sunshine. She ended up having leaves poking out of every possible place and these seemed to break up the space in the colas. Again I'm guessing if i grew the strain again things may look differently.
