🌸 Week 5 Complete – First Week of Flower Phase The light cycle has been switched to 12/12 since the start of the week. No clear signs of flowering yet, except for a slight preflower showing on the Seriotica. However, the stretch has definitely kicked in: 📏 Current height: • Seriotica: 42 cm • Cherry MAC: 46 cm • MAC n Cheese: 50 cm MAC n Cheese is stretching nicely and looks strong – just like the rest of the tent. 💧 Watering & Feeding • 6 L per plant every 3 days • Feeding at ~50 % of the Advanced Nutrients schedule • Input EC: ~1.3 🔍 Drain EC readings: • Seriotica: 1.1 • Cherry MAC: 1.0 • MAC n Cheese: 0.92 Still very happy with the medium mix (Plagron Lightmix + Coco) – especially because the runoff EC is consistently measurable and reliable. Looking back, I probably could’ve flipped to flower a week earlier – the tent is really filling up now! 😄

Day 37 Great growing this orange sherbert by @fastbud420. This week is starting to really get into flowering, i think will stretch à lot. At least i hope. Need à lot of feeding. Trying to get as much light is possible to flower but i defoliate being really carefull. Day 42, last two days stretching became really fast, as results i think that needs a lot more nutrients i’ll increase bio grow from 1(as schedule) to 3 ml/lt, and i’ll stop Top max as i started big bud and i don’t want too many salts to accumulate into the soil. Na sala tinha ácaros aranha, mas menina não foi afetada. Adicionei luz UV-C para manter praga controlada, mas acho que minha menina tem poucos cabelos, deve ser por isso. Agora nos últimos dias menina estava sozinha, luz UV-C apagada cabelos aparecendo. Harvest: Everything dried up to 347 grams + 96 grams of super high quality trim. Overall I am not too pleased with the smoke of the product. Although the bud size, bag appeal, smell and taste are pretty much all there, the shitty burn is a deal breaker for me and the majority of this weed is quite frankly useless. Another downside is while smoking I’ve found 4 seeds in an ounce from almost every strain. Light leaks? At least I learned a ton, including how to get super good burn for my next crop. I’m hoping that curing for a month or so will improve the burn but I wouldn’t really count on it. I have seen weed dried for 4 days with no cure and no flush smoke clean and not go out once. I have been told that the key to white ashes/clean burn is proper mineral content in the soil and there is tons of scientific studies on cigar ash going back 100 years. Plants grown in a medium with high levels of decomposing organic matter, phosphorus, magnesium, chlorine and heavy metal ratio tend to produce black/grey ash. Whereas plants grown in a medium with a higher ratio of trace minerals like calcium carbonate and potassium in the form of wood ash, rock dusts, oyster shell flour and lower levels of decomposing organic matter will produce a dense, uniform white ash that rarely goes out. But this is still all theory until I test it to confirm for myself a few times. My last few outdoor harvests did not improve with curing at all so I’m hoping this will be the missing link. Plain peat moss and coco clearly lack essential minerals that help burn. If said theory is correct I should find a synthetic nutrient line with more trace minerals. Makes me wonder if growing if rockwool/basalt rock could improve burn in a hydro setup. I think I did a fairly decent job for my first grow. I went wrong in a million different places but I still stuck it out and got some decent herb. Things went wrong early when I got black spot mold, nitrogen/magnesium deficiencies and powdery mildew. I corrected most of it but things didn’t get really bad until mid veg when I intentionally skipped a few feedings and defoliated quite heavily stunting the plants. I also didn’t even top or start LST until the 6-9th node which was really stupid and hurt my yield. My temperatures were all over the place from the learning curve. I was severely overwatering without realizing it. 100% peat moss is a shitty medium. I also fed way too late in flower (not what caused shitty burn). I also used synthetic nutrients in soil. I removed all of the LST strings, to let her grow more freely in her last week. She looks amazing and i am very happy with my first grow. I will harvest her next week or the end of the week. I won't do flushing, because I only use organic fertilizer and want her to grow till her last day. Some crazy Things are happening right now. She ist growing new buds on her buds! I decided to give her another extra week, just to see how this experiment will turn out.

This week, I'm going to keep closer tabs on daily activities. All plants are showing signs of deficiencies. Monday 1/18 - "Flushed" all plants with Clearex. I did about 2.5 gallons per plant and I normally water about 1. I think in general, I'm going to up my watering from here on out if they survive. Tues 1/19 - No watering. Still got a good bit of moisture in the pots. All three plants look a bit healthier. Wed 1/20 - All plants healed by Biden lol. Just in case that fails, I top amended with FFOF mixed with like 2 tbs of Dr Earth, spread across soil for all 3 pots. I watered 3, 3gallon plants with 5 gallons total. Apx 1.5 gallons per plant and they all ran off. Plants looking healthier than they did pre-flush, but I think i'll need to go ahead feed the full amount of Dr Earth at the start of week 9. Thurs 1/21 - Plants are looking pretty good. Critical Kush leaves are turning a bit purple, could be phosphorus def. Friday 1/22 - Normally I would have watered, but the top 2 inches felt damp and the moisture meter shows 2-3 towards the bottom. Gonna give it another day Sat 1/23 - Feed and watering time! I went ahead and did 4 Tablespoons of Dr Earth Life in each 3 gallon pot. The most I've fed to date. This week seems to have been recovering fairly well. Check out the video for a decent tour. In the video I said I fed 4 teaspoons, but it was tablespoons. 😵

Auto Maxi Gom is doing okay. She has started to grow. Ph in coco is between 5.8 to 6. So that is good. I have been keeping her wet. Plus adding feed about every 2 to 3 days. Nothing else to report at the moment.
