Corkscrew Auto by Royal Queen Seeds is an autoflowering collaboration with Tyson 2.0, bred from Cherry Pie Auto x Tangie. The genotype is 55% sativa, 40% indica and 5% ruderalis. Plants stay compact indoors at 70–100 cm and can reach up to 170 cm outdoors. Flowering takes 55–65 days, with a full life cycle of roughly 85–95 days from germination. Indoors, skilled growers can achieve 450–500 g/m². THC levels reach about 19%, delivering a bright, energising effect that users describe as uplifting, focused and creative. The terpene profile skews sweet and tropical with candy-like citrus and pineapple notes. Suitable for indoor, outdoor or greenhouse setups, this variety was designed for reliable performance and fast results.

So that's a wrap on my first ever grow! The Corkscrew Automatic by Royal Queen Seeds x Tyson 2.0 is an amazing phenotype. The genetics have just a touch of ruderalis and it shows. It felt a bit like I’d expect a photoperiod would, apart from the fact that you don't need to manually flip her. She grew vigorously, handled LST and topping like a champ so she would stay low in my small tent, and withstood my carelessness with root zone PH without bigger problems. I was trying to be careful with watering but in retrospect I feel like I could have given her quite a lot more water earlier in the grow, but she handled everything I threw at her fine and was very forgiving. The buds have a very pleasant smell that is packs fruity, creamy and citrus notes and the buds have turned out really frosty and sticky. I can't wait to see how they turn out once they are dried and cured and take a sample! Thanks for following me on this journey - there's more to come!

C'est l'heure de la récolte À cause d'un début d'infestation par des spider mites j'ai décider de récolter pour ne pas gâcher tout mes efforts avec un rapide rinçage des racines à l'eau clair.

It had some initial growing pains and stayed in bonsai mode, but it fought through it bravely and produced a few purple, resinous flowers. The high is really hard to describe. The manufacturer describes the aroma as pineapple, sweet, and citrusy. I can’t really smell any of that—maybe a hint of pineapple, but not peeled, more like standing in front of the produce section at the supermarket. I think there’s a slight cork-like smell in there, like when we have some in the oven at work, but it’s not unpleasant.

Corkscrew Auto, I have nothing but praise for the entire cycle. I was very excited about all three Tyson 2.0 Auto strains. Everyone was special in some way, but Corkscrew shined in every way. Combining genetics from Cherry Pie Auto and Tangie, this compact plant is hardy, easy to grow, and ripe with excellent flavors and aromas. She is slightly sativa dominant. Corkscrew was the shortest of all three plants on the farm, 81 cm, which is ideal for the size and height of my grow box. The lights are at the right distance and it's easier for me to handle it. The harvest was after 73 days since I put the seed in the ground. Vegetation lasted three weeks and flowering lasted six weeks, which is usual for automatics. At least that's how it is on my little farm. Corkscrew has grown into perfect shape, the main cola rising above the forest of flowers surrounded by lovely dark green leaves is a beautiful sight to me. I still admire every plant, no matter how many times I look at them they have something magical for me. Corkscrew threw out a lot of flowers that are big and hard, full of trichomes. The structure of the flowers is what delighted me the most. I did not expect the harvest so soon, but as usual, in the last weeks I often observe under the microscope how the trichomes change, they are the best indicator when it is time to harvest. The conditions on the farm were challenging, the high temperature inside the grow box was present for all 9 weeks. Sometimes even above 32 degrees. All three plants withstood it well, including Corkscrew. Watering was every two to three days and apart from CalMg, I only added Bio Flowering Booster. In the end, Corkscrew did the whole trip great, coped with the high temperature, grew into a real beauty and in the end rewarded me with an above-average 92 grams of dried flowers. As I said at the beginning, it exceeded my expectations. I definitely recommend this great strain to everyone, Corkscrew Auto will not leave you indifferent.

It's not one of my favourites, slow in growth, very small flowers with the classic calix structure! The structure of the trunk appears imposing, full of branches, the smell and taste of the resin is not very strong, it has sweet and earthy nuances.
