The Northern Lights has become the classic strain in the cannabis world. This is an indica dominant hybrid, that keeps a lot of sativa properties including its leaf structure. This is a feminized strain. The plant grows up high and reaches to 1.2 m inside and stretches to 2 m outside. It develops a huge central cola with long thin leaves and a big internodal distance. The harvest comes after 7-8 weeks of flowering or in late September and brings decent yields of 575-625 gr/plant outdoors and 500-550 gr/m2 under a 600w light indoors. The best climate for growing outside is in Spain, California or North Africa The high THC content of 18% provides strong knockout effect that lasts a few minutes. This is an ideal choice for body stone high fans.

after a wonderful performenc i was able to harvest a good crop. unfortunately i was not able to dry under ideal conditions and mould developed. unfortunately only 8g dry weight remained from the 236g buds i initially harvested. a real shame.

Chopped these ladies after 60 days of flowering. These plants produced some very tasty buds! There was not much difference in taste between the two plants. They both taste sweet with citrus undertones and a very smooth smoke. These girls were good for smoking right after drying and a breeze to trim! Although the terps were on point the flower was not very frosty or potent and lacking density. these traits are something you expect from a legendary strain like Northern Lights. I chucked my mother plants as well because they started to flower in veg under a 18/6 light schedule. I'm not sure if it was my growing methods or the genetics from Royal Queen seeds, this take on Northern Lights really missed the mark for me.

I had no issues at all running this cultivar. She was a dream to grow. She is LOUD though. Skunky, funky sweetness. Update: I ended up with 1.9 pounds after dry and trim. Nugs are rockhard and dense.

Very good strain great smoke smells great. No complaints this is a classic and good genes. Only complaint is not the frostiest buds but that could be my fault due to my whole tent herming.

Great strain overall. Structure is easy to work with LST, toppings etc... Don't require a lot of feedings and has a nice color. Grows very fast in veg and has a good stretch ( about doubled size ) Buds are beautiful, dense and full of trichomes. The smell is very earthy and fruity with a clear high for a all day smoke.

The plant is so strong that it survived the hot weather in Manila. This is just a test run tbh, not happy with the buds as they’re airy but so impressed by the genetics. Stable and pest resistant. I was away from home several times during the cycle of this plant. There are days that I dont get to check and feed her. This plant literally survived on its own almost 80% of her time. Really strong genetics. Will run another round for RQS for sure.

IMO this strain is in top 3 best strains. It grows in any conditions. I never use heaters. These days outside Temps are 0 to 10°C, 5 to 14°C in my garage. After i cut the apex after 4 nodes peripheral branches had short development. Outside in summer i cut after 3 nodes to get a 6-buds bush because flowering strech is more important and buds are thicker

Found it stopped growing just after week 3 and all the energy was redirect to bud growth. Definitely got some nice dense buds.

What a great plant. Still can’t get over how strong the high on this girl is. So we’re obviously happy about having this cut available for pollination. She’s strong with very good vigour. Squat as a plant with massive head buds and tight internodal spacing. Despite being particularly susceptible to WPM she does grow right through it without issue if the problem is being actively managed. The spicy bitch by contrast was very resistant which is exactly one of those traits that you hope gets shared with these F1 seeds. The colours should be a light show based on how each tend to colour in late flower. All told and despite limited info - I have very high hopes for this cross🤞🤞🤞🙏. We’re gonna call it Northern Spice F1. All the plants pretty much cried uncle around week 8 and then a couple took some decent burn when we inadvertently mixed up the feed ratios. Regardless, beautiful tiger striping on the seeds👌. It ain’t a pretty finish but mission definitely accomplished👍.

Bummmm! I just started my Christmas day 24th of December 2021 with her as a first try and of course took a glass of mulled wine on the way as well. Next day just went for it pure and 😴 Let's see then but firstly, Thank you Royal Queen Seeds providing me this majesty. Another big thank you to ViparSpectra providing thsi outstanding XS2000. Great creation well done. I used to grow her autoflowering version from RQS that was a great strain I really loved that one too! So when I just strarted reading the official RQS site description about this strain I found a lot of thing was drawn the way I perfectly feel or felt so I will add those to be able to describe the clearest way. So it says "According to the legend, it was an exclusive Indica plant from Afghanistan, although some of the original eleven plants were said to contain Thai genetics." Interesting and about the strain is mostly Indica but it has sativa in its leafs. So the leaf structure is supposed to be sativa style. What is your openinion about it? I was checking other diaries as well. Just wondering anyways... Alright for me she was like the plant just need to grow and LST max nothing else. She stayed for me quite small and weak but was looking good, I did a bit stronger FIMming. Nicely coated buds and got purple in the end so was exotic style a mini one ;) It was great to grow but I also know that I could do better with her but it can happen only next time. Let's move to the smoke.... So here I would like to copy from their site: "Northern Lights is simply one of those knockout smokes that guarantees a couchlock session for the next few minutes. The Afghan heritage really shines through in the smoke, and anyone looking for that strong stone need seek no further than this beautiful strain." Well...... true.... it is a strong indica dominant strain and it really gives you nice strong relaxation for sure.... feeling good and relaxed.... guaranteed haha I wanna say that this strain more than worth growing and you grow out 300g or 30g beleive me it is a winning smoke you gotta try..... As I know growing part can be different and seeing great other results here I would give 9 to grow and the smoke yeah .... what do you think you all? 10 of course... Bye ❤️
