Quick One is a fast-growing autoflowering strain with a short flowering cycle, decent yields and compact size. This is one of the first and one of the fastest varieties in the Royal Queen collection.
The strain is based on the Canadian genetics and on the famous original Lowryder. The Williams Wonder, Northern Lights and Ruderalis were crossed to create this strain. The result is indica dominant plant that doesn't depend on light schedule and contains 10% sativa, 60% indica and 30% ruderalis genetics.
The plant develops a strong and compact structure. The height reaches to 50-60 cm , so the strain is ideal for small spaces. It is harvested in 8 weeks after germination. Sometimes flowering takes one more week to get fully mature plant.
The harvest provides great yields that reach to 275-325 gr/m2 indoors and 100-150 gr/plant outdoors.
The smoke brings a fresh, herbal aroma with soft citrus notes, a mild taste and an enjoyable body stone high.

Quick one was not so quick as they said that it would be. It costed us approximately 12 weeks instead of 8-9 weeks. Also the harvest value is not much. Maybe because of the unexpected male plant that was growing as an invader in the growing tent. Very disappointing. It caused the stop of the growing of the tops.

Easy and very forgiving strain.
Had a temp issue for 2 weeks, which stunned and slowed down the growth of the flowers, but even still the buds are very frosty and potent and I'm happy with the yield.

So, harvested the Quick One last weekend, but didnt have time for an update.
Got 35 grams dry. Shiny sticky buds with a good skunky smell to them.
None of the buds were massive, but the top buds on the main stems are a good two inch/4cm long and thick.
On reflection, am very happy with results of my first grow all the more so given all my mistakes. Roll on grow #2

2nd grows on this strain and besides her getting a banana now i like this strain. Very fast, nice and heavy body feeling and a normal smell. I will grow this one again for sure if i feel the need for a fast grow.

Harvested over the course of 10 days. Next time i'll do a better LST job (almost none in this run, but I now understand its importance better)

Super easy, super fast. Besides water, good soil, a handful of organic fertilizer and some love, she grew all by herself. For my first grow I could not have asked for a better plant. Let's hope the taste and effects are as good as the rest.

Smoking Update:
Taste and smell is nothing special. It's mostly Citrus and earthy, with a bitter aftertaste. Reminds me of Grapefruit. It's ok.
Effects are also "meh", very relaxing and couch-locking. Feels almost pure Indica to me.
And to be transparent, I harvested her at least a week to early, that's on me. Still have a seed, will give her another go next year.
to summerize, it's good for what it is, an easy and quick to grow plant, but nothing special.

Hallo zusammen,
Da sich Besuch angekündigt bekommen habe musste ich diese Reise leider frühzeitig beenden.
Diese Lady war alles, aber keine Quick One.
Die Blüte hat trotz identischer Bedingungen zu den anderen Pflanzen leider erst nach 7 vollen Wochen eingesetzt… das wäre beinahe der Ernte Zeitpunkt gewesen. Sie hätte sicherlich noch 1-2 Wochen vertragen können, aber es ist nun mal wie es ist.
Die Pflanze selbst ist an sich recht groß gewesen.
Nichts desto trotz, bin ich aufgrund der langen Zeit nicht besonders entzückt… es gibt bessere strains für derartig lange Zeiten.

Second round of quick-ones. This time they didn't stretch as much, probably user error of cranking the light up too much too fast. Less is more !
In the end, a solid grow that led to harvesting dense nugs. Actually, it's almost like the plant was a single nug given how compact the 2 plants were. The density of the plant is what made me harvest a bit early. I could have pushed the fade a little longer, but was afraid of bud rot. My favorite weed to grow on the side of a tiny space that still yields great.

Plant overall took longer than what breeder specified bottoms of plant looked like it still had time but I had to cut down for legal reason NYS is letting us grow weed finally I don’t want to break there laws on it even though they seem a little stupid

Alles in allem lief es gut für mich. Die Quick Ones haben vom Keimen bis zur endgültigen Ernte 102 Tage gebraucht. Für Anfänger gut geeignet. Leider sind nur zwei der drei Samen am Ende gekeimt, der dritte wurde nichts.

Amazing beginners sort.
Really forgiving, low fertilizer requirement, compact grow appearance, awesomely fast.
RQS speaks of 9 weeks until blooming, after 10 weeks I found no clear trichomes.
I'm curious for the final taste.

Nicht zu stark, gefällt mir sehr gut. Generell eher auf der fruchtigen Seite, sehr angenehm zu rauchen. Snacks sollten auf jeden Fall vorbereitet werden.
