Royal Jack Automatic

Jack was easy to grow, no problems and harvest was ok for the small effort growing and bad conditions (only cheap 25W lamp and mostly inside because of the bad weather). I harvested in two steps in a distance of roughly 10 days. First the top and then the rest of the plant. Total: ~ 38g which resulted in ~ 13g dry 1st harvest: Early harvest. But only half of the plant! Rest will still continue growing. Trichonomes not brown yet. I wanted to try that's why I partly harvested. ~ 15g which resulted in ~ 5g dry 2nd harvest: 10 days after the first one I harvested the rest of the plant which has actually improved quite a bit in the 10 days. ~ 23g which resulted in ~ 8g dry

Quite happy with the results of my first ever grow! In the "experiment", growing in soil won by a -hehe- landslide. Really easy to set up - I simply filled pre-fertilized vegetable soil into a pot. No measuring, no overpriced fertilizer products. Can't beat that. Considering the weather, the plant grew really well. This was in part, because I had it indoors under 84W of grow lights during most of the vegetative phase. The amount of sun we had in Germany this year was sadly miniscule so far. When my apartment started smelling the plant moved outside fulltime and grew there happily until harvest. The hydro plant ran into nutrient issues and the Kratky method really doesn't suit that well for a rapidly growing plant that has a 3 month+ life cycle. It is doable, but the main selling point becomes mood because the "low effort" part doesn't really hold up over that much time. You easily end up running into trouble with the nutrients or the water. A pot with soil seems simpler.

After drying, the hydro plant's bud smelled a little different. Considering the small amount and the bud rod that was cut away previously, I didn't want to risk anything and threw it away. So the harvest is just about the soil plant. I dried the whole plant except larger fan leaves. As this was an outdoor-ish grew I don't have any specialised equipment. It just had to dry in the room, which averaged 24°C and 60% humidity, probably not ideal. After 10 days it was trimmed and finally weighed. Might still be a little wet though. Final dry weight was 42g, after weighing in wet and untrimmed at 294g.

Je n'avais encore jamais cultiver cette variété légendaire. Elle a répondu à toute mes attentes avec sa rapidité et sa robustesse 👍. Je la trouve juste un petit même pour une autofloraison 😌. Les buds sont de bonne taille et bien dure 👌.

Really low harvest on my part but at least I got something for a minimal budget and a really cheap setup, I learned a lot and it was a nice experience, I can't say much about the variety, just that she managed to provide a little bit of weed with what I gave her.

Growing Royal Jack Herer Auto was a breeze, she put up with my beginner mistakes with ease, a real strong plant indeed, I wish I had got a 3 pack lol, I would gladly grow this strain again and with my experience I bet this plant can be even better.

Harvested the bigger royal jack today since the tricomes were where I like them (all cloudy some amber. Root structure was almost non-existant which likely explaines her small stature. Single cola. Wet trimmed and hanging now. Wet weight 27.1 grams. Smells like grape, blueberries cheese and a slight citrus note. 8.5 grams

Although I have gone LST and heavy defoliation even during flowering she was strong. Once she has shown partly yellow bottom leaves but she stopped after I changed the dripping pan and let her bottom 5 cm to breathe.

Very nice smoke. Tastes like earth and cream with notes of herbs. The effects for me are: happy, uplifting, dreamy and it has a slight relaxing body effect.

This was a runt plant I decided to see through to the end.

Very easy to grow. It's a compact plant with nice looking buds. The smell is not very strong but gets better during the curing process. Can't wait to try. I will grow it again for sure as it is very practical: compact (got a small grow room) and very quick.

Very easy to grow. I didn't have to do anything. The buds are nice , and so was the smell in the end of flowering. Got 2.3g out of it, it would have been better with a nicer weather. I tried one joint, it s really a functional high. I will come back to that on smoke report.

I've been expecting much better results than the 1st breed of 2022 - the OG Kush (by White Label). It was really fast growing plant with healthy life and thick buds. It had a very short vegetative period (4 weeks) and due to it's posture an extensive LST wasn't available, although not impossible. I could still separate 6 branches away from the main stalk. As it started to flower it was getting slower than expected, being ready to harvest by 15th week (and exactly 110 days). I am satisfied with this plant.
