Shining Silver Haze provides the quintessential sativa experience. With legendary ancestors like Haze, Skunk, and Northern Light, you’ll get a taste of the classics every time you burn these buds. This cultivar develops large and dense flowers that put on stunning displays of green, orange, and purple—but they don’t just look good! These colas pack a mighty THC content of 21%, medium quantities of CBD, and earthy and fruity terpenes; brace yourself for a heavy stoning high. Grow this variety indoors for a yield of up to 650g/m² after a flowering time of 9–11 weeks. Outdoors, she’ll churn out 600–650g/plant.

10-20-2024 - Harvest day, cut and hang whole plants - Played with the microscope cam a little bit, the white balance is always so off that it blows the image, not sure if its the app or the camera - Will update on results in two weeks after trim 10-27-2024 - Humidity started dropping in the tent two days ago, hit 53% today which seemed like a quicker dry than I thought it'd be - Probably a day or two late, even though I only started to get stem snap on the smallest branches then, consider cutting earlier next time - Final bagged humidity reading at 53-55% on these new Govee sensors which I calibrated to 62%. Added Bovida packs to all bags to bring up - Bagged in knock off Grove bags, hopefully these have a better zipper 11-11-2024 - Plant 1 - 78.4g - Plant 2 - 82.1g - Plant 3 - 85g Smell is still developing a bit as its only 2 weeks into cure, but definite citrusy / floral undertone, with some muskiness from being premature still. Taste also still developing. Effect is definitely more sativa-like. Less racy / anxiety causing than a lot of other sativas so far though. Final thoughts: While plant 3 was much physically larger, it yielded about the same weight, but I feel its buds are less developed. I ended up bucking down the buds more on these. As it was the first to hit the sulfur deficiency I suspect I had, I wonder how that contributed. Plant 1 actually seems to have turned out the nicest, followed closely by plant 2. I ended up with about 2.8 ounces per plant which is much lower than the 4 ounces I got out of the previous OG Kush grow. I think trying to walk the line between Natures Living Soil semi-organic and still using calmag, and other stuff when I felt like it kinda was a mistake... only because I didn't really commit to an organic grow style and I don't think I gave the soil all the attention it deserved... but I also started with that same bag of "corrected" happy frog that I used dolomite lime to fix the 5.2 ph in. Kinda hard to gauge the stunting of the plants when I started in soil I didn't trust. The spring was a neat tool for LST. I like having a rigid structure for the main stem, but still ended up with garden wire everywhere anyway. Trimming all branches down to the last 3 nodes I actually like, and I did get BETTER bud, if not MORE from this grow. It made maintenance and such much easier too. I want to lean into bloom boosting of some kind I think to better stacking / fatten things up, as well as doing less "constant" pruning in favor of letting the plant OVERgrow more, and then cutting back. I still need some work on the dry procedure. These all still seemed to dry pretty quick at one week, which is too fast for my goals of maximizing flavor, smell and terpenes. I need to research more. The grove bags are better. Im a convert for final cure. Learned a decent amount about what I want from this grow, and the final result is NICER than the OG Kush from before. For next time: I'm committing to organic. top dress amendments Gave away all my remaining nutes except some CALMAG. Soil: 5 gal Promix HP, earth worm castings, perlite, and standard dosing of gaia green + gaia basalt rock dust. Add Myzos and Azos, and dose more Myzos at transplant RO Water only except for Recharge teas a few times through the grow, trying to ignore pH altogether this time as I keep getting into trouble chasing good pH numbers Top dressings of gaia green, earth worm castings, and basalt rock dust

Pretty solid grower, took to topping pretty well. LST, not so much. Buds are absolutely beautiful and packed with trichomes. I'll be updating with yields and a smoke report as I trim her out into jars. EDIT: Ended up with 114g of jar worthy buds. Training technique helped cut down on the larf and popcorn, but I would probably defoliate even further up the plant when I grow her again.

She made it to the end, which is already amazing :) I almost killed her when she was just a two days old seedling dropping some equipment on her. Then she had to deal with me learning about root development, light intensity/height, proper watering until runoff, EC/PPM, VPD etc. At some point there were nutrient deficiencies and lockups, a month of flushing and in general all my timing was off. She survived my LST and ScrOG techniques and I think yielded alright for such a tight space (she probably had less than half of my 0.16m2 tent). She had a strong gassy and lemon smell, which I'm looking forward to tasting after curing. Beautiful plant, lots of purple on my scissors.

Květy byly malé a téměř úplně bez vůně. Sklizeno 350g mokré hmoty. Trichomy 40% mléčné / 60% jantarové. Po usušení jsem získal 40g.

So far for veg. phase I can say about this strain - based on 2 pheno-types and two clones therefrom: Compared to the other strains, my two Shining Silver Haze seedlings grew fastest, vigorously and have a "deeper" green. Their stems are clearly thicker looking than the others' stems. The node spacing of my two Shining Silver Haze phenos is noticeably larger than that of the two different Skunk XL 2 phenos. The node spacing of my two Shining Silver Haze phenos is slightly larger than that of one Fruit Spirit pheno. The overall appearance of the Shining Silver Haze pehnos is less bushy and a bit more tall and generally very strong.

Dear Diary: What a journey! Shining silver haze is a very simple strain to grow, a little TLC goes along way. Growing it indoors, I was a bit concerned, because most Haze's grow fairly large, but with proper training (LST, HST, Scorg..ect) Definitely helps with the process. No major problems throughout the whole grow. Buds turned out fairly dense, but a majority of them are on the fluffier side. That just might be the strain. Had her on a regular feeding schedule and stuck to it. She was a treat to grow, very simple for intermediate indoor growers, or newbies looking for a little challenge. Will most likely grow this strain again. The 84 days of flowering was a bit much, but you can't rush perfection. LOL And hazes are known for longer flowering times. Final thoughts: Shining silver haze is an incredibly easy grow, for someone who has a bit of understanding on feeding schedule, proper watering, SCrog and all that other jazz that comes along with this strain. Beautiful spicy smell. i highly recommend-Shining Silver Haze.

I don't know what happen but after trimming the bud's the smallest branch of all had 10 seed's. All the other's were clean with just frusty bud thank's god 😂🌟 I think she went hermaphrodite in the final stage because she hardly felt the final flush with yellow leaf's comming hyper fast. Probably the enviroment changes in vegetation stage or a light leack from the kitchen light's have been the responsibles for this. Will try this 10 seed's someday and hope all of them are feminized Shining Silver Haze without hermaphroditism 😌🌱☘️ She recovery very well from overwater, temperature change, hardly LST and defoliation overall. Course she lost a small amount of her total power producing those seed's but, after a week curing I really enjoy the taste of citrus, pine and lovly haze. Also smell's superbly well. About the high hit's fast and hard in each drag, with a uplifting, energetic, free stress and mental high typical from a sativa predominant. Keep strong 💚🤙🏻☘️
