Gold Bar Kush

I just tried Gold Bar Kush and it has a delicious orange and apricot citrus taste with a hint of kush. Not the strongest, but it gives a very pleasant buzz that lasts quite a while....very easy to work on...good for focus. I was hoping for more of the mandarin/orange flavonoids it is known for, but all four were more of a normal kushy flavor. Not that there's anything wrong with that....but I wanted some orange ;-(

She has grown very strong and has been very productive. I didn't want her to keep growing she's a monster of cogs. with the weight of her buds I have to tie her so that she does not fall completely and her roots come out and she dies She fought well with worms because my tent was outside at some point the butterflies entered. but she was very strong. I will continue with the future information of her

Super calming high, just as described by spliff. Doesn’t paralyze your just relaxes you and relieves any pain well.

Spliff’s Gold Bar Kush is a hefty strain reminiscent of the bronze age of Dutch Cannabis. Let’s not forget it was the Dutch that started taking the first steps into crossing nice pheno’s from the existing land strains in the years 80’s. Gold Bar has a strong citrus smell and taste, but certainly also a strong Skunkiness. The plants A and C show very dense buds that give a smooth silky vapor (yeah, I don’t smoke) with the strong citrus/skunky taste. Plant B suffered from my tweaking with the day length because of the ‘upperdecker-grow’, resulting in the loss of energy in making leaf instead of resin. That one’s on me! I’m happy with the end result of 157 gram, of which 60 grams main bud, another 34 grams small bud and last but not least 63 grams resinous material for making medicinal oil.

Flowering took 10 weeks until harvest. Smell is strong and fruity. Cant give any opinion about the taste just yet, but as soon as we cure the buds for a couple of weeks we are going to express our opinion.

Fantastic strain with gigantic colas, mainlining worked great on this one, I should even have been more radical with bottom pruning. One of the colas was slightly affected by mold during late flowering but environmental factors were against me. I highly recommend this strain and cannot wait to try other SpliffSeeds genetics.

The stoned effect is like a couch lock and the taste is very nice. The ladies are easy to grow and are stress resistance.

Update 23.12. - did a little reveigh and its not 75 dry but it is 70 so i corrected that info.. Amazing result today after 5 days of drying at 50 RH and around 17 celsius.. Smell is absolutely amazing, very sweet with hints of all kinds of tasty fruits (melon, watermelon, orange, apricot). Grinded and smoked she left me with a very sweet exhale smoke and i blv inhale taste will come after some curing so she will be jarred and untouched from now on. Gonna store her to this tupperwear first, check the rh in 2 days and see where i am, if all is good she will be jared and burped, probably not everyday coz there is no nasty hay or amonium smell to her, neither grassy or strange, she just smells very sweet haha 🔥😎

Love this strain! Super frosty, crazy orange smell and taste! The effect is hard to explain because its a bit mixed. I feel a relaxing physical effect but it doesnt make me sleepy. It also a very happy, giggly high so its a true hybrid i guess. I messed up one of the plants with topping, but my cabinet wouldnt have fit both of them anyway. Im surprised how idiot-proof this strain is too because i stressed her a lot. Between ph shifts, heavy defoliation and me losing track of the ppms she did just fine. Super even canopy from topping 1 time and she didnt even need support.
